Quoted one price and had to pay another price because they changed the service. No assistance when asked to speak to a manager. Inspection didn’t get done as requested. I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership a couple weeks ago. Shortly after delivery, the interior lights stopped working. Because the vehicle was sold with a 90-day/4,000-mile warranty, I contacted t weeks ago. Shortly after delivery, the interior lights stopped working. Because the vehicle was sold with a 90-day/4,000-mile warranty, I contacted the salesperson Tyler and let him know I would be bringing it in for service. At no point before arriving, nor when dropping the vehicle off, was I told there would be a diagnostic fee. I was not provided any paperwork to sign and did not authorize any repair order. After the vehicle was diagnosed, I was informed that I owed $125. I called multiple times to try to resolve the matter and inform them that I had not signed or approved anything. Despite this, I was repeatedly told that payment was required. After two days of back and forth with no resolution, I went to the dealership in person to address the issue. During that visit, I was told a mechanic’s lien would be placed on the vehicle over the disputed charge. Only after the matter was escalated to the General Manager did the dealership decide to cover the fee and release the car. I was also told that I was no longer welcome at the dealership. The issue was ultimately resolved, but only after unnecessary escalation. Customers should be clearly informed of any charges and asked to authorize them before work is performed. That did not happen here. More

We agreed on numbers, I completed their online trade-in appraisal, and I clearly listed every issue: windshield, leather, dings, mods—everything. They sent an offer, I accepted it, and I made the trip. We even got a hotel so we could be there first thing Friday. And then, after they test-drove my trade, they suddenly came back with a “revised” offer that was over $5,000 lower than the one I accepted. Absolutely ridiculous. The salesman, Brayan, claimed he’s only been selling cars for a few months. Honestly, I hope he’s just being puppeted by management, because the way this place does business is pathetic. I told him I work in sales too, and I was completely upfront about my trade because I didn’t want to waste anyone’s time—especially after driving five hours. Then the manager—Fredus, or whatever his name was—tries to blame the lowball change on the appraisal being “AI.” Give me a break. That’s just a lazy excuse for sleazy, bait-and-switch tactics. And of course, they tried to slip in nonsense “protection packages,” overpriced tint, vinyl junk—typical garbage add-ons. They also tried to force me into their financing even though I told them from the start I was using my own bank. Another lie. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE AT AUTONATION FORD SOUTH FORT WORTH. In my experience, they wasted my time, lied, and pulled classic shady dealership moves. There are far better places to buy a vehicle. After this, I’m done with Autonation entirely. More
