Managing a fleet of company vehicles for service can be very challenging. Every hour the fleet is out of service for maintenance costs our company $$. Sales Rep was very polite, patient, and friendly. He spent a great amount of time showing me several vehicles that were relevant and did not try to upsell me beyond what I wanted. They let me leave thinking they would not agree to the price and called me literally 2 minutes after I left to say they would accept my offer. Nice folks, however dinged me $3500 on trade in due to minor damage. Test drove vehicle, agreed to trade. Front and rear under numbers had obvious streaks running down paint. While doing paperwork car w minor damage. Test drove vehicle, agreed to trade. Front and rear under numbers had obvious streaks running down paint. While doing paperwork car was being detailed. Running behind schedule we took vehicle when salesperson returned from filling fuel. After returning home (1 1/2 hour later), we realized after detailing, imperfections were permanent. Sent email to dealer, no response. Spent $36K for vehicle, now I guess I’ll spend $1500 for paint job…. I’m too trusting of people. James Tolewitzke More
