I recently bought a 2022 Ford Ranger from here. Initially it was a nice experience. Negotiating was not too bad. the bad part and the reason for 3 stars is because my salesman, did not exactly have Initially it was a nice experience. Negotiating was not too bad. the bad part and the reason for 3 stars is because my salesman, did not exactly have much knowledge when it came to the features available in the vehicles I was looking at. He mainly just wanted you to test drive it and would reply with "I will find out for you". I feel a salesman should know their product they're selling. re at least have some kind of knowledge. The worst part of the whole experience was with financing. I came into the dealership with my financing in order already, I had an approved loan through my own bank and my jeep to trade in. You would think with having the buying power ready it would be a piece of cake to go in and sign for what you want. Well, not here. After agreeing to buy the truck, it took them 3 hours!! just to get me to the finance guy to sign my documents. Even though I brought in my own financing, they still took 3 hours to even get me to sign anything. I left the dealership after 9:30pm, needless to say, any excitement I had about driving my new truck off the lot was gone by that time. I just wanted to get home. UPDATE: 9 months later I receive a recall notice for my windshield. Clearly stated to make an appointment with your nearest authorized dealership for a free repair/replacement. Apparently the glue or sealant they used initially wears off fairly quickly. So I make an appointment and was told the dealership would schedule a glass company to come and replace my windshield. The day of the appointment I arrive and I am told that if the windshield isn’t presenting any issues yet that they cannot replace it. First, I guess I have to wait for the windshield to fly off or find my vehicle flooded inside in a rainy day for it to be replaced?? Second, what a waste of my time to even go through all this scheduling process just to be told they cannot do anything on a RECALL!!! Worst service at this place it’s ridiculous! More
When I arrived I told the service manager I wanted the $39.00 oil change special. But I had forgotten my coupon I received in the mail. So he told me he could do it for $49.00. I said ok. Then about 5 minutes later he came in the waiting room to let me know he had to charge me $59.00 because my truck was a V8 and it took more oil. I said okay.. When my truck was finished I went to pay the bill and they charged me $99.00 Why???? More
I received my expedition serviced. Tune up and oil change. I have to say that I was there half the day because I had no ride but I got to see the great service Barb gives to everyone. The check out desk is patient. They have donuts out for you to eat. Comfy seats. Clean bathrooms. Great people to have conversation with. My truck is running smooth. Barbara my service rep was the BEST part of my experience. The recalls on my vehicle was not completed because of parts needed that the dealership did not have and did NOT make me aware of until I experience. Normally I have been delighted, my recent experience was terrible. It took over 3 weeks to have my vehicle repaired. I had an appointment scheduled back in October 2022 for February to have a Service recall terrible. It took over 3 weeks to have my vehicle repaired. I had an appointment scheduled back in October 2022 for February to have a Service recall completed. The Engine Light came on the Saturday before my appointment I went over to the Service Center to have it looked at, they hooked up an instrument to see what was wrong and said yes its what they thought it was. They said I will clear the engine light, I asked if it was safe to drive, I was told yes it's fine. They said when you come in for the service recall appointment they can fix it then. So off I went. 3 days later my vehicle broke down in Millington and I had to have it towed into Bartlett to the Dealership which cost ne $110.00, my appointment was the following day , when I was there 3 days earlier I was told it was fine to drive and would be addressed at the time the recall item was taken care of so when I called the following morning to let the Service Departme t know my keys were in the Overnight dropbox and explained the situation, I was immediately told. We have 10 technicians and 60 service tickets ahead of you, it will be 2 weeks before we will get to yours. Stated, I had the recall appointment scheduled and was told it would be taken care if at that time. I asked to speak with a particular Service Agent and was told the Obe handling the recall appointment will be handling this as well. I had the worst time getting in touch with that Service Agent. I left voicemails and was placed on hold for extendedbperiods of time when I did speak to the Service Agent I was rushed off the phone and told the recall ticket was completed and the repair will ve handled by a different Technician and they still had 20 vehicles ahead of mine. I wasn't allowed time to inquire about a 15% coupon offered online that needed to be handled on the front end. Finally after 3 weeks I was told my vehicle was repaired and the technician had to rekey my vehicle because it wouldn't start and had to be jumped.and to bring up my spare FOB to have it rekeyed and that it would take 45 minutes, So I did and when I got there I was informed the person that handles that was gone for the day and it will be taken care of the next business day. So the next day I receive a call stating it would be ready by noon, I called at noon to confirm it was taken care of and was told the recall items had not been completed and it would be ready by noon the following day. I explained again how thi was my only vehicle and I was told it had already been taken care of at my appointment 3 weeks prior. I was told well the computer shows the work is complete when the parts are ordered but they didn't get to it. But they would have it ready to next day. I received a call later the following day letting me know it was ready to be picked up. So I went after work to pick up my vehicle, I was charged for the replacement of the batteries in the FOB's, even though I was told I wouldn't. When I checked the FOB's to me sure they were working properly, one of them had a red light blink on so I went bVk in to explain and inquire about it, I was told, well what do you want me to do about it? I handed both FOB's to the agent and several minutes later they were returned to me and stated we changed all the batteries. When I went to pay for the repair I offered my 15% off Coupon and was denied to use it because it has to be entered by the Ssrbice Agent prior to the ticket being given to the cashier. I explained I wasn't given the time to inquire about it at any of the times I spoke to the agent. I kindly requested to speak to someone in charge to handle it I was told no manager was there to speak to and that the cashier didn't have authority to give the discount. Finally the cashier went to the back and spoke to someone and w Told the cashier a Service Agent that was still there could enter it in the computer. So that was taken care of and I was given the discount. More
