I had been to this location in the past and was hesitant about ever going through a dealership to purchase a vehicle. With the current state of used car sales, we decided that it would be more cost effectiv about ever going through a dealership to purchase a vehicle. With the current state of used car sales, we decided that it would be more cost effective for us to purchase a new vehicle. We walked in, told them what we wanted, and had a pleasant experience along the way. James V was knowledgeable and friendly, he even sat with us during the credit review/approval process and chatted so we were not just sitting around waiting for someone to give us updates. Made the 3 hour experience go by very quickly. Tanner H was also excellent. He was helpful, willing to answer any of our questions, patient with us through the process and had a great sense of humor. Both James and Tanner gave us their contact information to call if we have any issues and we hope that their assistance will be just as pleasant should we need it in the future. More

Thank you Toby Archuleta for the great service. You more than met my expectations and helped me obtain a refund on a $170 tire replacement that was covered by my warranty while I was out of town. than met my expectations and helped me obtain a refund on a $170 tire replacement that was covered by my warranty while I was out of town. We bought a 2018 Honda Pilot in January 2021. The car practically sells itself, but our Sales guy Carl was friendly to work with. I asked if there was any incentive that they could throw in (I’ve had oth practically sells itself, but our Sales guy Carl was friendly to work with. I asked if there was any incentive that they could throw in (I’ve had other AutoNations throw in extras before) and said he had to talk to his manager. He came back and said he could get us 2 free oil changes. Well, joke’s on us because all Honda certified pre-owned vehicles come with 2 free oil changes. Man, that Carl guy is sly. The Pilot has a ton of windshield chips that I said needed to be fixed. We thought they were fixing them before we picked up the car. After getting the keys, we were told that a separate company will fix the chips and will call us as soon as they can (COVID delays we were told). After a few weeks, we called this Honda dealership and no one picks up the phone. It is now April 28th and my windshield has not been replaced or fixed. The Honda certified pre-owned manual that came with the vehicle says that all chips in the windshield must be fixed or replaced with Honda Glass so I guess this location does not care about their policies. I will never buy another Honda from this location. I also have to mention that Oscar was our guy going over the paperwork and signing and he was rude and pressuring us into maintenance packages that we said like three times we didn’t want. I would like to think he was having a bad day that day but other reviews on here say otherwise. More
Waste of time and don't waste your time. Started communication via website to confirm availability of vehicle, which was confirmed it was in their inventory, even had appointment via this communicat communication via website to confirm availability of vehicle, which was confirmed it was in their inventory, even had appointment via this communication. I went to my appointment, was met with confusion who I was working with and was told the person I was talking with was potentially not on their site. Then a local sales person came up and told me the car I was looking for was not available based on my initial inquiry, "they didn't have any of that model." Wasted my time, specially when going out in public area during COVID. Very disappointing for a motivated buyer. More
Car buying experiences are only as good as one's salesman. Most know very little if anything about the product they are selling, and care nothing about you except your money. That is not the case salesman. Most know very little if anything about the product they are selling, and care nothing about you except your money. That is not the case with Bruce Kral. He is the only one I would ever buy a car through. He is honest, personable, and extremely knowledgeable. No one else like him in the car business. I would never trust or buy a car from anyone else but Bruce. More
My experience working with the AutoNation Honda Chandler team was a less than desirable experience and very disappointing. I had a good experience upfront working with my sales guy, however, confirmed the d team was a less than desirable experience and very disappointing. I had a good experience upfront working with my sales guy, however, confirmed the date and time to pick up my car and when I arrived my car was in Tucson (confirmed that evening in their system) and my sales guy was on vacation. There was no record of my appointment to pick up my car, every associate I interacted with acted as if I was the biggest inconvenience and no one wanted to assist with the issue. The sales manager stepped in and said that due to the miscommunication they would throw in some extra things for my car. Additionally, he asked me to reach out to him directly via text the next morning and he would take care of things ASAP. I did as he asked, and with no word by noon followed up and he said he hadn't had time to take care of things with my car yet. After reaching out consistently, it wasn't until 2:30 pm that we received an update that that car "just arrived in Tucson that morning" and they were sending the sales guy to get it. Moreover, that they were going back on their word and not providing any of the additional things they promised me. As I continued to work with the sales manager he essentially extended apologies and told me to just work with the sales guy. We had a similar experience when speaking with a director who said that sales guys shouldn't confirm anything without the car physically being on the lot and that the sales manager shouldn't have promised us anything free because that's "not their style". Even with documentation of correspondence they continued to push us aside and it was blatantly obvious that they do not care about their customers in any capacity, nor are they willing to work with them. I was told I would be connected to the GM and left a voicemail regarding my concerns and whether I wanted to proceed with their dealership or not. I never received a call back with the errors in miscommunication coming from their employees. Due to my experience, I went to Showcase Honda in downtown Phoenix and it was worth the drive even though I live in Gilbert! Excellent customer service, they gave me a better price, and were willing to work with me. After going back and forth with AutoNation Honda Chandler for almost 3 weeks, I was in and out with my car in 24 hours with Showcase Honda! More
My wife had a horrible service experience at AUTO NATION HONDA!! One might say the actions by the "service advisor " were close to misogynistic. She brought in her car with only 6791 miles told him she n HONDA!! One might say the actions by the "service advisor " were close to misogynistic. She brought in her car with only 6791 miles told him she needed Lube, Oil, Filter, Inspection, and tire rotation per the " Maintenance Minder" on the Honda. Did you catch that? The computer in the car directs the service people what service should be performed. My wife was told all those services would be performed including the tire rotation. She spent an hour at the dealership with an appointment. When the "Service Advisor" had her sign out the paper work he covered and held his and on the paperwork that showed rotation had not been done. WTH? You always rotate when you do an oil change right? So I called the service department 2 days later when I discovered this, the service advisor I spoke with concurred with me tires should be rotated. My wife called the original guy back and he said they did not need rotating cause the front had more tread than the rear. xxx? The paperwork says they are equal 8/32 and how is it possible that an Real Time AWD car with almost 7000 miles has more tread on the front tires than the rear, When the front tires propel the car for the most part. I say xx!! He saw a woman and took advantage of her. So now even though I have purchased the "HondaCare" maintenance plan for my wife I have to do the rotation in my driveway or spend more time at the dealer having the job done right as the Freakin Computer in the car directed them to do! Guess who didn't give "EXCELLENT SERVICE" ? Guess who didn't "MEET OUR EXPECTATIONS" ? Guess Who will get a FAIL on their personal report card? Joe Krizek that is who! This is from Bridgestone the manufacturer of the tire. Even if your car is properly aligned, tires still need to be rotated for optimal wear performance. Rotation counteracts the uneven wear characteristics of each wheel position on the vehicle. How often should you do it? To maximize tire tread life, follow the recommended rotation schedule in your vehicle owner’s manual. If there is not a recommendation from the vehicle manufacturer, then rotate your tires every 5,000 to 7,000 miles by taking your car to a trusted tire dealer or automotive service center. This is from page 597 of her owners manual -Tire Rotation Rotating tires according to the maintenance messages on the driver information interface helps to distribute wear more evenly and increase tire life. So Let's review... 1.) Common sense says rotate the tires every oil change 2.) The tire manufacturer say rotate the tires every oil change or 5000- 7000 mile 3.) The Honda Manual says do it according to maintenance minder in car 4.) The maintenance Minder said "Tire rotation" 5.) Another service advisor at same dealer said rotate tires every 6-7,000 miles But Joe said No FAIL! More
Horrible experience. Explained what I wanted and did not get it. Told them I wasn't happy with what I got within 12 hours and was told sorry nothing we can do. Financing experience was even worse. Still dea get it. Told them I wasn't happy with what I got within 12 hours and was told sorry nothing we can do. Financing experience was even worse. Still dealing with getting the loan because was told misinformation about unlocking my credit and spoke with 3 different people to try to get the extended warranty removed. Wont ever go back More
Awful. I come here as it’s the closest to me and I have a warranty. I do all my service here. I dread every appointment. Today I have a 7:00 am appointment for service. I got here about 10 to 7:00. It’s 7:38 warranty. I do all my service here. I dread every appointment. Today I have a 7:00 am appointment for service. I got here about 10 to 7:00. It’s 7:38 and I’m still sitting in my car waiting on an advisor. You make an appointment - it’s not good. You show up at the express service without an appointment- it’s not good. I don’t know what’s wrong with these people... I assume they’re not good to their employees cause everyone leaves... More
