DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! A few months ago, we bought a used car from them. When we were driving home, we noticed a noise. We noticed it when we test drove it but the sales man said it was the temporary license plate hitting against the car. We called them and they had us bring it back so they could take it to Audi to fix the problem. They said they would call us in a few days. About a week went by and we didn't hear back. Kept trying to reach someone (Jaron the sales guy & Elias the used car manager) to find out the status. Finally they called and told us it was still at Audi. More days passed by. Tried reaching them again with no call or text back, so I called Audi. They said Honda declined service and took the car back 5 days previous. Then Honda called and said they were "fixing" the issue. We decided to not keep the car because they were being very shady. They acted like Audi was going to fix the issue and they were never going to tell us they were actually fixing it until they found out I called Audi about it. Also, their warranty has a lower deductible if you take the car to them directly instead of the maker of the car. They said they then take it to the maker dealership. What they don't say is that they have the maker "diagnose" the problem but then they actually "fix" it. If they disclosed that, fine. But they don't say it in those words. I wouldn't want Honda to fix my Audi or Audi to fix my Honda.... Fast forward to today. I found a used Honda on their lot and very reluctantly I decided to give them another chance. Started texting at 12:19 and speaking to Tully around 12:48. Had a few questions Tully was going to get back to us on. Got a call from Abel Valencia at 3:49 asking how we can make this deal and when I could be there. I told him I was an hour away and would be paying cash for the vehicle. He called again at 3:56 telling me they could do what we discussed which was $500 off the asking price. I told him I was on my way. He told me to ask for Tully when I arrive. Got there at 4:44pm. Tully came out and let us test drive the vehicle. After driving it, we were ready to buy the vehicle. Tully had us sit and then Abel comes up to us to tell us they just sold the vehicle and asked if there was any other car he could help us with..... I told him I just spoke with him an hour ago, he had me drive down there and he sold the car from the time we arrived to the time we got done test driving. I asked him why didn't he call and tell me they had another buyer. He said because the car is not sold until it's sold.... Common courtesy would have been him or Tully calling me to tell me they had another potential buyer and I would have been fine with that. He could have even called me if it didn't go thru. He not only had me go down there but also test drive it while the other person was purchasing it. They sold it to the other person because they were financing it and Honda would make more money that way. Again, if he didn't agree on the phone to lowering the price, I would have said no problem and moved on...... Abel, you are a piece of work..... YOU are the reason no one likes to go buy a vehicle. YOU have really found your calling you horrible person. More
I explained to the sales associate what needed to be done for us to get a deal done and Angelo and the rest of the team got it done. Only thing I never really got a solid answer on was why the particular veh for us to get a deal done and Angelo and the rest of the team got it done. Angelo is above & beyond a A-plus salesman as was everyone at Honda that I dealt with. They gave me everything that was agreed to on our deal and I didn’t have to spend half my day there either so w everyone at Honda that I dealt with.
