Service writer tried to tell me that a set of new tires and alignment would fix my driver assist which I just paid 295 to calibrate. Then the service manager agreed with me that it should not impact but and alignment would fix my driver assist which I just paid 295 to calibrate. Then the service manager agreed with me that it should not impact but proceeded to tell me that my car does not have driver assist, but only cruise control. Funny, my vehicle settings specifically say "Driver Assist Settings." Cruise control is a separate function but works in conjunction with driver assist. It would be nice if the people servicing your vehicle actually knew the vehicles and what they are talking about. So after being without my car for an entire day and driving 70 miles round trip to pick it up, there was no change in my driver assist. The vehicle image that is supposed to appear with the lines for choosing the number of car lengths you wish to be from the car in front, still did not appear or work. The car was still in Cruise Mode only. Trying to explain this to a service writer and manager was exhausting. To have the audacity to tell me that spending an additional almost $1100 on tires and an alignment would fix a problem that was clearly computer/sensor/camera related was insulting. Needless to say, my car is still there. So I am now without a vehicle for 2 or more days with another 70 mile round trip to retrieve it with no guarantee that it will be fixed. God only knows what that will cost. More
