He was very friendly and worked hard to get us exactly what we wanted at the price we wanted. The trade offer was $9500 more than Sons Chevrolet! They were honest, caring, and overall great! Me and my wife love our 2024 Pilot and we will be back here to buy all of our vehicles in the future. I can’t say enough great things about the staff and the experience! Pleasant and eager sales staff. I did not feel any pressure to purchase, but rather interest in what I wanted. Financing was done efficiently and professionally. Clearly explained. Some concerns, however: leaving customers sitting for hours on end without letting us know exactly what they were doing until they had completed the task. Telling the customer that the wait time will only be 15 minutes, and 1.5 hours later assuring that it will only be 20 minutes more. Sales staff did not know the car…some information given was incorrect, and we were able to pull the car stats up online to check. Also had some concern that sales person was not familiar with financing offer on their own website until we pulled it up. When we showed that $500 off of a car purchase and not just on a lease, the online offer was honored, but we were asked to send sales a screenshot of their own website. The car was not thoroughly prepared…we spent hours trying to program one of the key fobs, only to find after bringing it back that it had not been programmed to the car to begin with. Lastly, there was great pressure to only give top evaluations on the survey. Surveys are to be used for learning what is working and what isn’t from the customer perspective, which will only improve business. This is the second car we have purchased here, and we really like Auto Nation…we would purchase here again, and will recommend it to friends, but these issues need to be addressed. The sales team needs to become familiar with the Honda website and the specific specifications offered on the vehicle provided as compared to other models. Why should the customer be better informed than the salesman? This lack of knowledge is both unprofessional and inexcusable. More
