Broke the wheel stud on my 2012 Honda Fit when I was rotating my tires due to a gas station inspector over tightening my wheel lugs with an impact wrench. With the gas station unwilling to accept responsibility I had Autonation help me out after I realized there is no way to knock out the old stud without removing the bearing. I feel like I got a fair price and fantastic service to replace my front wheel bearing and broken stud. They took me in next day and turned the repair around in a day. All around, a great experience. Took over 3. 5 hours for an oil change and this is with an appointment. They tried to tack on additional “recommended” services totaling over $1,000 to a car that 5 hours for an oil change and this is with an appointment. They tried to tack on additional “recommended” services totaling over $1,000 to a car that has a little over 42,000 miles. And they came to me with this at the 3 hour mark. Not going back there again unless there’s a recall on my car. My expectation was perform the services I came for which should have taken no longer than an hour and if they did feel that I needed optional services done don’t tell me while my car is still on the lift after 3 hours of waiting. They should tell me this as I’m checking out. They don’t seem to think that people make appointments for a reason (need to pick kids up from school, get back to work, etc…); keep in mind my appointment was for an oil change. If they can’t keep that within an hour, then they shouldn’t book that many people at the same time slot. More
I had a great experience yesterday (9/7/22) at AutoNation. Fawad was my customer service rep was great! He was kind and helpful, not to mention super polite. The experience at AutoNation Honda Dulles is always good. I use to have an Acura, and at Acura service locations, the service is off the charts high. Honda falls a bit short of that.
