Brought my car to dealership on august 12 Friday because our honda odyssey computer dashboard starting lighting up with all codes one after the other and when you started the car and drive it drove slow and our honda odyssey computer dashboard starting lighting up with all codes one after the other and when you started the car and drive it drove slow and the engine sounded like it was going to die.Had to have AAA tow car to dealership.Daniel our service manager said we should be getting daily updates.Waited back for a phone call Saturday it was about 5pm still no phone call. Sunday was closed. Called Monday morning and found out service person was off for 2 days. Spoke to receptionist and states she will find out who would be taking over service when Daniel was off. Receptionist called back said they need to wait from honda corporate for approval and it make take awhile. I need the van back Wednesday I told her. Texted my friend who was a mechanic said to ask to talk to the Service manager. I called back to speak to Manager, same lady answered and she finally forwarded me and Lily, director spoke to me instead. Lily listened to me and understand why i was upset and she said she personally will escalate this issue and will get back to me today. 8pm that night I get a caller ID saying Autowest. I picked phone and it was Lily. She said she was able to get the part from another dealer , it was a rocker arm that needed changing and my car is all done and I can pick up in the morning. This issue was reported to honda corporate.I was shocked and happy at same time. Thanked Lily. Since it was still under power trained warranty car was still covered and there was no fee. I had only 15 days left from that Friday i dropped off car. Next morning I went to pick up car at 8 AM and met Lily. Thanked her again and she said if I needed anything to give me. call. Before talking to Lily I almost had it moved to Milpitas honda, since all my service was normally done there, but Lily reassured me that she would take care of everything and she followed through. That was all I needed a person to explain what was happening. Thank you again Lily. More
I made an appointment for an oil change. A synthetic oil change now costs a crazy $100. Fortunately I had a coupon for that. Once there, I was in a long line of cars waiting a while for someone to come help me. Thankfully I was able to drop off my car and not wait at the shop because it was almost 4 hours until the job was done. Ridiculous! It caused me to missed an appointment I had elsewhere later in the day. Lastly, they emailed me a picture of a screw stuck in my tire noting that my service rep would discuss that and other recommendations for my car, but the tire was never mentioned. More
