I visited 3 Honda dealerships in the past 2 weeks. The first, i visited, i spent numerous days with many text messages, a few phone calls....NO CIGAR They were pleasant enough, but you need more t The first, i visited, i spent numerous days with many text messages, a few phone calls....NO CIGAR They were pleasant enough, but you need more than a cup of coffee to sell me.... The 2nd dealership was basically not interested (UNBELIEVABLE). Set at a desk with a salesman , he said he had no cars and that prices were UP. After a total of 15 minutes , he just gave me his card which i pitched outside. Miami Lakes honda was #3. I went to get an estimate on the value of my car and had no intention of buying anything. I was told what my equity in the car was, without a problem. A few hour later i had a lease on a new passport which was in transit. As a huge dealer and new car skeptic, I was impressed by the Salesmanship of Yolanda. Connected with her through an online inquiry, she was honest and clear about the stock available. Prepared the paperwork online and had the car ready for a drive when I walked in. Not pushy about financing, extras, etc. And I drove out of the dealership in a new car after 5 hours ( yes some parts of the process need improvement). It was a pleasant transaction overall and I congratulate Autonation for excellent people like Yolanda. More
