The service department has gone way downhill after being taken over by AutoNation. Service advisors act as though you are an inconvenience and offer nothing by way of customer service. Since bringing my vehicle to AutoNation, my vehicle has had various issues shortly after being serviced for other, unrelated reasons. It was hinted by an advisor that my vehicle would maybe last another year when I dropped it off for service, opening up the secret to their shady business practice. My vehicle was there for preventive maintenance at that point and experienced a series of new issues after the visit. AutoNation preys on customers and bolsters their numbers by creating further issues with your vehicle, thus creating more business and money for themselves. All dealerships are untrustworthy, but AutoNation Des Plaines is the king of this department. More
