I’ve had good experiences here in the past. My latest service wasn’t great. The XM satellite radio in my Civic goes out and won’t come back sometimes for a week. After 50-60 hours on XM tech support the service wasn’t great. The XM satellite radio in my Civic goes out and won’t come back sometimes for a week. After 50-60 hours on XM tech support they couldn’t fix it. I brought it into Honda and they could not do anything about it. The problem still is there and this is a brand new car. More

Suspected the batte Nice people. Overpriced parts and labor. Had an issue recently where car wouldn't start. Was having strange electrical issues. Suspected the battery. Got a jump start and took it to Autonation Honda since it was close. Several hours later, I got a call saying I needed to replace the battery and also the Crank Starter. The battery would be $200 and the crank starter, $500. They also gave me a list of another $4700 in repairs they were recommending. Because they had my car and it wasn't starting, I felt like I had to have them do some of the work. I had them replace the battery and crank starter. It took a few hours. All the staff were nice to work with and professional. However, once I got the car home and looked over the paperwork, I noticed that it said the crank starter was showing up as fine in all their tests but they suggest I replace as a precaution. That is not how it was worded to me on the phone. I was told that the battery and the crank starter needed to be replaced in order for the car to run again. After spending some time googling crank starter (because I'd never heard of that before), several auto sites indicated that the part costs around $50-100 with labor around $100-150. So had I gone to another shop, I probably would have paid more like $200, not $500... for a part I apparently didn't immediately need. I feel a bit ripped off. Will be taking my car somewhere else to have them see if the other suggested repairs are even needed and if so, I'm guessing they will be about half the cost. More
