Honda did a great job of replacing my damaged ignition and doing some other repairs in my 2005 CRV, and service reception was efficient and polite. However!!! Honda call center is a serious problem!! When my car was vandalized and not operable, I was concerned and trying to determine what needed to be done. I called four (4) times asking to speak with someone in the service department and was told each time that no one was available but that I could leave a message to have a service technician call me. They even promised they would mark my request as ‘priority,’ but I never received a call back. I also sent an email to the service department that received no response. Luckily, someone was able to dislodge a piece of what had been jammed into the ignition to make the car operable and I was able to drive it. When I - again and for the fifth time - called Honda then the call center person happily made a service appointment for me. Is that the sole purpose of your call center??? Just to make appointments but never refer a call??? My service advisor was Andrew Santana who was fine, but when I called his direct line the day after I picked up the car to ask a question I left him a voicemail and have still not received a return call. There is definitely a huge communication problem at Honda. I want to keep bringing my car for service but that becomes a problem when it!s impossible to get a simple call back!! More
