We have serviced our car at Autonation Honda several times and have always found the service dept to be professional and customer friendly. I clean my car prior to a service appointment. I purchased four new tires from AutoNation but have two issues. The crew left my wheels with dirt, grease and stains on them. Instead of being deligh I purchased four new tires from AutoNation but have two issues. The crew left my wheels with dirt, grease and stains on them. Instead of being delighted with my replacement tires I was dismayed that was forced to clean the wheels on the crew's behalf. My car should be returned in the same, clean condition. The second issue was that an interior wheel well trim piece was dislodged but was not re-attached. The piece hangs down several inches and is several inches from the tire. Am I a little too unreasonable with these two items? One might say that the crew works in greasy, soiled conditions and they cannot be expected to keep things clean for every customer because it would take too long to do so. In regard to the other item - the broken or dislodged trim piece - one might say that a little damage can happen on occasion because the crew is expected to perform a job in a prescribed length of time and cannot address every mishap that occurs. One final comment: I have spent some time composing this message because I think that as petty as my items seem to me to be, I think the dealership should be aware of them. I left two voice messages with the Service Manager as well but, since I conveyed during my recorded message that I would send him an email, he did not call me. I understand. I guess I understand. I would have called the customer as a show of concern and respect. But we are all different and we live within each other's graces. By the way, James Harding, our service rep, is excellent. He is truly a very good, concerned and respectful individual. More
The staff was very efficient getting me checked in. Andrew was thorough and detailed. I was told it would take one hour to make the repairs. I waited in the lounge with a cup of coffee.
