Honda builds a solid car. Very happy with Honda purchase.. The dealership sales personnel were great but the paperwork process was overly difficult and it didn’t need to be. We accepted the fixed price so that wasn’t an issue. Suggest getting an efficiency engineer to improve process. I was already prequalified for the loan through Chase bank. Why it took over 3 hours to get the documents is unclear. Nevertheless, we’re happy with our purchase and feel confident they will support our service needs. More

Exceptionally Poor Service Despite a Good Deal My recent car-buying experience at Autonation Honda Valencia was exceptionally poor, despite ultimately getting a good price on the car for my son. U recent car-buying experience at Autonation Honda Valencia was exceptionally poor, despite ultimately getting a good price on the car for my son. Unprepared and Misinformed Staff We scheduled a 1:00 PM Saturday appointment, but the salesperson was completely unprepared for our arrival. After the test drive, the first issue arose when the salesperson incorrectly insisted the dealership did not accept outside financing. When we stood firm on using our own financing, he abruptly walked away, ending the conversation. Unnecessary Obstacles and Time Wasted I contacted the dealership the next day and was told by the acting General Manager that outside financing was, in fact, accepted. I returned to purchase the car with our USAA pre-approved loan. However, the new salesperson then insisted on running a credit check, claiming it was required to complete the sale despite the pre-approval. He repeatedly questioned my refusal to have my credit run and pressed for a dealership check. The entire process was only resolved when the Finance Manager finally intervened. I wasted three hours sitting at the dealership for a transaction that should have taken 45 minutes. The misinformation, lack of preparation, and sheer lack of knowledge displayed by more than one salesperson completely soured the experience. We got a good deal on the car, but the poor customer service ensures we will not return. More
