Perfect 10 for sales, financing and service! I had a Perfect 10 for sales, financing and service! I had a 2009 Hyundai Sonata Limited w/58K miles on it, and the navigation system wouldn't work, the S Perfect 10 for sales, financing and service! I had a 2009 Hyundai Sonata Limited w/58K miles on it, and the navigation system wouldn't work, the Service Manager worked with me to get the unit repaired for less than 1/3 of what the unit would have cost to be replaced, since the warranty on the navigation system is 3yrs/36K miles....while looking I talked to my salesman Vlad Rabinov, who sold me the 2009, and I decided on the positive efforts of Vlad, Dan and Karl in service just to buy a new 2012 Sonata Limited and trade in the 2009. I was shocked at the value the 2009 still held, and the price they worked with me was fantastic, so I bought the car. Two days later I returned the dealership again and bought my daughter a new 2012 Elantra Touring model from the same dealer, salesperson, finance mgr. and Henry the Sales Mgr. This makes the 12/th or 13/th vehicle I have purchased from the various Jim Hudson family of dealerships. Honestly, I am very picky (an*l) and I have never been disappointed with a purchase from Jim Hudson! Honestly, based on all my past purchases and experiences with the Jim Hudson family of dealerships, I can say Jim Hudson does care before, during and after the sale! There are other good dealers in the Midlands, but there is only one BEST dealer, Jim Hudson, buy with complete confidence! These comments are totally unsolicited by the dealer and/or any employees from the dealership, nor am I, any family member been or have been at anytime an employee of Jim Hudson, this is an honest submittal for an honest dealer! I came up to Columbia to look at used cars. I had a referral to see Steve Goodwin. I was taken to him and he asked a lot of questions as to my goal as to trading cars. As we walked toward the used car area, I stopped to admire a black Sonata. Steve asked if I liked the car and I did. He went and got the keys - went for a drive and (this is pretty cool) had me park it the sold cars area of which I immediately took note of. As a retired professional salesman (Caterpillar) I will say that Steve was very confortable to be with and no direct pressure. The business office experience went well, also. I began looking for a new car using the dealer websites. Jim Hudson Hyundai responded promptly via email (as I requested) and told me two new Velosters had just arrived. Not only did Jason respond with information about the vehicle, he shot a quick video showing me the features of the car, and uploaded it to Youtube for me to see. When I came in the following day for a test drive, he was very helpful and informative. After the test drive, I told him we were planning on shopping around and test driving some competitor vehicles as well. No pressure to buy or even stay, just a "call me when you're done and let me know how the Veloster compares." We came back the same evening, convinced that the Veloster was the right car for us if we could get it at the right price. Jason was willing to work with us on the price, finding rebates and markdowns to get the car into our range. All throughout, there was no pressure or pitch, just low-key discussions and a little haggling. This was my first buying experience, and I don't think it could have been more enjoyable. More
