I drive a 2021 Santa Fe Calligraphy, which I bought from a dealer near Rock Hill because of the low inventory and limited availability of Calligraphy trims on the AutoNation lot at the time. In early summer 2021, it wasn't AutoNation's fault, since nearly every company and product was experiencing inventory shortages and supply chain issues, from car dealerships to eggs and electronics. Anyway, they are my preferred dealer because I have used them to service my Santa Fe for the past four years, and they've always been wonderful. This is my first Hyundai, but I've always used dealership service departments for my car, regardless of the make or model. To be honest, AutoNation Hyundai has, by far, been the best experience I've had—it's not even close. The waiting area with free snacks is welcoming and comfortable, and the staff is always friendly and, in my opinion, honest. They have never pressured me to spend more than necessary or tried to upsell me on expensive, unnecessary services. The turnaround time is usually quick, and the wait times and ETA they give are generally spot-on accurate. For all these reasons, along with their convenient hours and online appointment scheduling, I hope it's easy to see why I like this dealer, choose to use them, and why I plan to keep using them in the future. I hope one day I get the chance to see the sales side of the business. If it’s half as pleasant as their service department has been, I’d be happy. Though I will admit, they do make waiting tough every time I visit, with the Santa Cruz calling my name and tempting me to trade in my Santa Fe for a new Santa Cruz! So, when I find the courage—or if I’m sure my wife won't kill me, the Santa Fe doesn’t just spontaneously combust, or some other issue comes up that forces me to look for a new car—Hyundai has not only earned my loyalty as a repeat customer, but my experience with the AutoNation Hyundai of Columbia's service department has earned them the chance of being my first on my list to start my new car hunt! My car needed repairs, and they did an amazing job. First, they were able to schedule me to come in quickly. Second, they covered the repair under the warranty with no issues. My first time having my car serviced there and my Advisor Justin was friendly and professional. The lounging area was clean and stocked, and employees passing by made sure to speak. The only thing I didn’t like, if you selected a service on their website, it does not give you the total price of what you selected. That needs to be adjusted to show the total price. Vehicle was is great condition, only needed high beams replaced due to a recall which has been recalled and out of stock for months. As soon as a started my car my headlight was out , my car started skipp replaced due to a recall which has been recalled and out of stock for months. Dealership has my car 21 days. They blame insurance and offer no rental. The service I experienced at AutoNation was a very long and untimely wait. My appointment was at 3:30 and I didn’t leave until 6:45! I was there for an oil change and for them to look at my transmission. T and untimely wait. My appointment was at 3:30 and I didn’t leave until 6:45! I was there for an oil change and for them to look at my transmission. They changed the oil and also worked on some recalls I wasn’t aware of. I was told I need a $425 transmission flush. I don’t think I’ll be going back there for that unless I can leave my car for the weekend. More
