No one had the vehicle in stock that I was interested in. Friday AM after we proactively contacted the dealer to notify them that the VIN # on the car we had sat in Sunday 8/14 , we’re in-serviced on, paid cash for, had driven home Thursday night 8/18, VIN # we gave our insurance company Friday AM - did not match with the VIN # they wrote on our paperwork? A few hours later after we had notified them, the dealer contacted us and told us the car we had paid for and driven home Thursday night ……. was a higher priced car; and that we needed to bring it back or pay more $ to the dealership. They had no other Sonata’s on the lot at any point during this time. We would have been out of a vehicle and they knew we were short on time as we were replacing a car that had been totaled in a wreck a few weeks prior. Disappointed in Autonation Hyundai at Buford Mall GA. Had they done the right thing and absorbed their cost difference then we would still be very happy and satisfied customers and been more understanding of what they told us was a mistake. Why was their mistake our problem? They accepted some of the financial $ difference but not all of it. Our sales person had no authority to settle any of the above issues once they occurred - that was completely up to the General Manager. The GM after seeing our post threatened to cancel our contract (via an email) - a contract that was paid in full Thursday evening and then again Saturday when we paid the $ increase and signed paperwork with the correct VIN# on it. P.S. There were no other new Sonata’s on their lot during this entire 6 day process. We learned Saturday that the VIN# they put on the initial paperwork and thought they sold us was and had been in their loaner car pool. The car was never for sale or on the new car lot on our 1st visit nor anytime during our buying process. We decided to keep, are keeping the car - and we paid in full for-and an additional $1773 for the car we drove home in Thursday - again Saturday. However we believe strongly that the dealership should have absorbed the $1773 difference - not the consumers- us. More

Customer service is only fair. Too long to wait to be acknowledged. Estimated wait time 75 min and actually over 2 hours. Andy took excellent care of me and the car. I was there about 3 hours and was able to have an engine diagnostic test done. I did have a few things done that were related to my 60,000 mile check up which is still about 2500 miles to go. I had it done right then and there. I was told I was good for about 30,000 miles or so. My car is a 2016 with only 57,000 miles on it. 👍.and in excellent condition. Wish there was a dealership in Gainesville, Ga.
