AutoNation Hyundai in North Richland Hills, Texas, is a predatory dealership that thrives on lies, fraud, and screwing over customers. My experience was a infuriating display of their deceitful tactics, an predatory dealership that thrives on lies, fraud, and screwing over customers. My experience was a infuriating display of their deceitful tactics, and BBB and Cars.com complaints prove this is their standard playbook. With an 820 FICO score, I’ve worked hard to earn top-tier credit, but AutoNation tried to exploit me for their own gain. Save your money and sanity—avoid this place like the plague. Financing Scam for Kickbacks They pushed a 7.99% APR, swearing it was the best rate and lying that I couldn’t use outside financing. My 820 credit score begs to differ. I called their approved lenders and secured a 6.49% APR for a 60-month loan, exposing their nonsense. When I confronted them, they showed a rate sheet for 6.49% with $4,000 down, but their monthly payments were inflated by $50/month compared to standard loan math. That’s not an error—it’s a deliberate scam to pad their profits or snag lender kickbacks. Sales Manager Nick had the gall to say I was “wanting too much” by expecting a rate that reflects my elite credit. The irony is laughable: I’ve spent years building an 820 FICO to get great rates, not to line Nick’s pockets with high-rate kickbacks. Other customers got burned too—one was tricked into a $3,900 “required” protection plan, fighting to cancel it while staff stonewalled. Mileage Fraud and Bait-and-Switch After seeing a car online with 52,000 miles, confirmed by salesperson Jaden Jassim, I drove 30 minutes and spent an hour negotiating. Then they dropped the bomb: the car had 72,000 miles (SHOWN IN PHOTO AS 52,000 AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT CHANGED IT PROVING THEY ARE INTENTIONALLY DOING BAIT AND SWITCH) —20,000 more than advertised. They called it a “mistake,” but Jaden had plenty of time to check before I arrived. This bait-and-switch was designed to trap me into a worse deal. It’s a pattern—another buyer was promised a second key fob for a 2023 Hyundai Elantra and waited eight months, with AutoNation dodging accountability until BBB intervened. Nick’s Smug Deflection Nick didn’t apologize for the mileage scam. Instead, he claimed he was “doing me a favor” by admitting the truth—as if hiding it wouldn’t be illegal fraud under Texas law. He bragged they’d just mark up the car’s price after I left, acting like I should thank him. When I called out their financing lies, he whined that I was asking for too much. Too much? I’ve earned my 820 credit score through discipline, not so Nick can profit off inflated rates. Other victims echo this—one had their $3,300 warranty canceled without consent, left owing their lender while AutoNation played dumb. Systemic Deceit AutoNation’s rap sheet is ugly. Customers report being juggled between seven loaner vehicles in three months, disrupting their lives, while the dealership chased new sales. Another’s car broke down after a botched oil change, with repairs stalled for weeks. These stories, alongside my mileage and financing scams, prove AutoNation Hyundai runs on greed and manipulation. Don’t Fall for It AutoNation Hyundai North Richland Hills is a cesspool of fraud and arrogance. Jaden’s fake “honesty” and Nick’s smug excuses show they’re in it for themselves, not customers. Their mileage scam, padded payments, and high-rate pushes violate trust and likely Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act. I’m filing with the BBB and Texas AG—check their shady BBB profile and Cars.com reviews for proof. Verify everything, bring your own financing, or better yet, shop elsewhere. I’ll never return, and you shouldn’t either. More

**********BUYER BEWARE********** I am writing this review in order to help future customers who look to do business with business not to waste your time. I have had the most horrific experience anyone review in order to help future customers who look to do business with business not to waste your time. I have had the most horrific experience anyone could ever experience. Been talking to Mo Ibrahim (sales guy) since yesterday in regards to a vehicle I wanted to purchase from them and I figured them being a well known, big organization I figured their customer service and communication would be top notch, but boy was I wrong. Upon agreeing to numbers and having my credit submitted and approved prior to my arrival the following day I was excited and anxious to get to the establishment and finalize my purchase for the Used vehicle I was planning on picking up. Before the day of going to this establishment, the sales guy told me vehicle was available and ready to go. I asked him if there was anything wrong with the vehicle etc. of course asking questions and doing my due diligence to make sure I am looking at a good quality vehicle and he replied with no, nothing wrong with the vehicle at all. He told me let's roll and get you going so I agreed and went upon setting an appointment for the following day at 11:00AM. Upon arriving to the establishment Mo walked me over to his office, then he proceeded to tell me that let's get your rolling and signed up. I then told him I would like to see the vehicle first, inspect and drive it then sign up and then he said well I dropped it off in our service department so it can go through their reconditioning process. I then told him I thought the vehicle was ready to be driven and taken home. He said well it still has to go through our shop etc. *Why couldn't he tell me before driving 3 hours to his dealership and submitting my info* I then told him so there might be a possibility that I won't even be able to take it home? and he then said yes there's a possibility where you might not take it home today. So why not tell me vehicle wasn't ready before hand. Then after waiting for a good while in his office he came back and told me man I have bad news the truck is no good. Truck died on the technician when he took it out for a drive and then started throwing all these codes. I told him are you serious. He then said yeah man, let's look at some other ones, and I told him no that's what I was interested in. He acted like it wasn't a big deal when he already ran my credit, I wasted 6 hours of my day just to not have a new vehicle to take home. He then proceeded to show me other vehicle that weren't at his lot and making remarks like I can get this one here tomorrow, etc. I drove 3 hours! I am not doing this again. At this point I was furious not only because I wasn't able to take a vehicle home but because he showed no concern nor urgency of the situation. I then told him I will proceed to go to another dealership and take my business elsewhere. He then said okay. He didn't even mean to bring this matter up to the managements attention. I was hoping someone from management would have come to me, apologize of the situation, acknowledge the situation or even a handshake. Management should've been aware of the situation and came up to me being management to apologize of the situation and find someway to fix this dilemma. This is truly a non-ethical way to handle this situation and no person should ever experience this and the someone feels after this happens. This doesn't just get's me upset but also ruins my credit for running it on a vehicle they haven't even inspected or isn't available. I hope this never happens to no one. AND I encourage anyone who plans on doing business with this dealer not to give them their business. This dealership shows not to care about customers but money and their self esteem. If you are looking for a New or Used vehicle please reach out to me and I will give you contact to a very reputable dealer that does not offer this kind of treatment. If anyone wants to reach out my email Marcos1monrial@gmail.com More
I was misled into purchasing a $3,900 vehicle protection plan for a pre-owned car after sales associate Jason Rudd and CFS manager Seth Baker assured me that it was the only way that I could qualify for an plan for a pre-owned car after sales associate Jason Rudd and CFS manager Seth Baker assured me that it was the only way that I could qualify for an auto loan. I later learned that they had lied and that extended warranties cannot be a condition of finance eligibility. When I reached out to cancel the plan within the 60-day cancellation window, Seth repeatedly dodged my calls and the sales staff gave me the run-around. He also obstructed my attempts to submit the proper paperwork to AutoNation. These guys are absolute sharks and will say anything to sell you expensive add-ons that you don‘t need. I recommend saving yourself the headache and taking your business elsewhere. More

I wasn't sure what model I wanted, but new it was time to get a new model to upgrade from my '21 Tuscon. The gentlemen were patience with me while I figured out what size of SUV was perfect for me this time. Once I decided, financing was a quick, painless process. We left feeling valued and beyond happy with our purchase. Thanks for going the extra mile and getting us into a cool-looking and safe car for our little family More

Called and spoke to Frankie Sisneros first time has no understanding of what lease is second kept insisting to the point of being rude for a credit app prior to even telling me what the price of the vehic understanding of what lease is second kept insisting to the point of being rude for a credit app prior to even telling me what the price of the vehicle would be monthly. Spoke to the sales manager, only to find out where they get the attitude. The manager also insisted on a credit app before even telling me what he would sell the vehicle for.. Nobody that has ever purchased or at least a vehicle Would be stupid enough to give credit information to someone else specially over the phone just to get A monthly price on a particular vehicle. If people do that, what that means is, if you don’t like the price then next dealership you go to you’ll have to run another credit report. Imagine if you go to four or five dealerships. Your credit score will drop over 100 points.. This place attitude is horrible. Professionalism sucks Sales tactics suck looking out for this. Customer sucks. Imagine if this is at the beginning when you’re trying to buy a vehicle I can imagine what the service and attitude would be after you buy it recommendations stay away from this place. More
