I was interested in purchasing a used Lexus RX 350 AWD for sale. The vehicle has 152K miles. I reside in Miami. First the promises of communication by the finance manager at AutoNation Lincoln Clearwater for sale. The vehicle has 152K miles. I reside in Miami. First the promises of communication by the finance manager at AutoNation Lincoln Clearwater Jeremy Sutton never developed. Staff never returned calls. Then after contacting the corporate administrative department of AutoNation in FT Lauderdale I was contact by the General Manager of AutoNation Lincoln Clearwater Felix Pereyra. The original finance manager Mr. Jeremy Sutton advised me the dealership would NOT pull a hard hit inquiry. They applied to Ally bank who would be the only financial institution pulling my credit. I have multiple paid in full prior car loans with no derogatory information. Sadly and unfortunately I was lied to and later learned that AutoNation care of Mr. Felix Pereyra for no apparent reason also pulled a hard hit inquiry. Then I was told "Ally would write the loan but the vehicle is more then ten years old. So I located another newer vehicle with less mileage. Then I was told another lie and story by the General manager Mr. Felix Pereyra. I was then told the next day by the President of AutoNation the vehicle was since sold. One week later the vehicle is up for sale on all web sites again listed for sale. The moral of the story is buyer BEWARE. Please do your proper homework before considering doing business with this company and specifically this dealership. My overall experience after buying cars for the last forty years of my life at other dealerships would lead me to rate AutoNation Lincoln Clearwater an F. They really should be honest in their dealings. There is NO reason AT ALL for this dealership to have pulled a hard hit inquiry thereby lowering my FICO score. From the lack of professionalism in their staff to the lies told to me by the General Manager Mr. Felix Pereya (who BTW signs each email God Bless You). Consider your options when considering making a purchase at AutoNation Lincoln Clearwater. More
