Service was good - very professional, including advice (not pressure) about future work needed. The technician even highlighted for me that, had I gotten the service done about 10 days earlier, it would have been covered under my new vehicle warranty, which just expired (Lincoln Concierge Service had told me otherwise a couple of weeks ago, so I do have a follow-up issue with Lincoln, but not this dealer). I made my reservation in February for 10 AM in mid-April. No offer was made to pick up my car, although Lincoln advertises that. I arrived 10 minutes early. There were nine vehicles ahead of me. Someone came over and filled my washer fluid and placed a number on my car. Again, I waited and waited. Finally, at 10:30, someone came over to check over my car and apologized that they were inundated. I knew I needed new tires, so that wasn't a surprise. I was asked if I planned to wait or go home. After learning that my wait would be 4-5 hours, I accepted an offer for someone to take me home. But, I waited 75 minutes for someone to do that! At 4:50 PM, I received a call that they needed to keep my car overnight. The next day, I called at 10:30 and left a message; at 11:30 and left a message: and 12:45 but this time someone answered. The tech assigned to my car indicated he would check on my vehicle and get back to me. 15 minutes later, he called and said the car still wasn't ready and that it would be another 2-3 hours. Then, I received a phone call at 3:10 PM stating that someone was en route to get me. I should note that no one ever extended to me the offer of buy three tires, get one for $1.00. I found that while I was looking up the phone number to call at 12:30 PM. Well, the driver came and picked me up. My tech apologized again, and said they had been really busy. He asked me not to be angry. Well, I really became steamed when I had to wait for nearly an hour for the financial clerk to figure out how to do the rebate on my tires that I showed on my cellphone. But, my car was returned with everything done and it had been washed and vacuumed. The location of this dealer, where I bought my car, is only a 30 minute drive. In addition to all the other issues related to warranties that I couldn't use although I paid dearly for, this had really put me over the edge. As much as I disliked my Cadillac, I'll be looking at a Cadillac next year when I buy a new car. People are pleasant and professional, but I'm beyond disappointment and will be going elsewhere to even look at a Lincoln in the future. You'd think that having had an appointment months in advance, the people with appointments would've been taken first and, if not, I should've at least had a loaner vehicle since my car was tied up for 31 hours! More
