I had done business with a dealership for 17 years that had forgotten what customer service was all about. At AutoNation Lincoln Clearwater they not only know what customer service is they define it. Fro had forgotten what customer service was all about. At AutoNation Lincoln Clearwater they not only know what customer service is they define it. From sales to service, everyone I have dealt with has been professional and really listened to whatever issue I may be having. GREAT, GREAT, GREAT no way else to explain it. More
I had to have a blower motor recall repair done and the part was on back order. I paid upfront for a new part and then when the recalled part came it they repaired it and gave me my money back. My wife took her MKZ to AutoNation Lincoln for repair service. The power steering was not working so we had the car towed in to and I AutoNation Lincoln in Clearwater. The first call from the service dep service. The power steering was not working so we had the car towed in to and I AutoNation Lincoln in Clearwater. The first call from the service department said that the battery was bad. We asked if they could test the battery to be sure that was the issue with the power steering not working. We were told no they can't do that the only way to determine whether the power steering is working is to buy a new battery. So, she gave the OK to buy a new battery. The next call said they put a new battery in the car, and it still wasn't working. So the service adviser suggested or said the only way they could do anything going forward was to charge us $200 plus dollars for a diagnostics. After she gave the OK to go ahead and do the diagnostics, the next call said the diagnostics did not find anything wrong with the car. We were billed for a diagnostic that turned out to be no diagnostics because nothing was found wrong. My first issue is why didn't you do the diagnostics in the first place or how did you determine the battery was bad. Why should we have to pay for a diagnostic that returned nothing wrong with the car. This seems to be a gouging practice used by AutoNation Lincoln. We own a Honda and I have never had to pay for a diagnostics when there is no trouble found. In conclusion just beware of who you're taking your car to and how they bill for services. More
