My rear brake pads were wore to a level where some drivers might wait until the next service for repair. However, he gave me the option to wait, I chose to have my brakes replaced at this service. My first old beater car, had a continuing break issue once, and I prefer to be preventative. Therefore I had new brake pads installed. The fact that Jason puts the choice in my hands means he realizes the financial concerns, which we all have today with uncontrollable increased deregulation years ago. Received my 12 month service on my brand new car, ($35k from this dealer), with less then 10k miles on 5/5/2020. Oil change and tire rotation, (per the manual it should also have included the cabin air fi from this dealer), with less then 10k miles on 5/5/2020. Oil change and tire rotation, (per the manual it should also have included the cabin air filter, but that was not done). Estimate was handed to me for signing, no comment was made about extras. I admit I didn't review it. Service took about 90 minutes. After getting home I glance at the bill. Oil additive? On a brand new car? for $20? $3 for adding washer fluid? And a charge for a gasket?!? Car has less then 10k miles, wasn't wear and tear, more like a mechanic screw up. Udder BS .. Hope you enjoy your extra $24 because I no longer trust you, specially after how you delivered the car to me brand new with almost no detailing. I'm finding a new dealer for service. More

I have a 2017 Forester which I purchased at the Roseville dealership. This is my third Subaru Forester. I have always been very pleased with their service department and staff. I was surprised on my last vis dealership. This is my third Subaru Forester. I have always been very pleased with their service department and staff. I was surprised on my last visit, on Wednesday, May 25th. In January 2022 my car was in the service department for a repair……..the key would get stuck in the ignition after turning off the car. I learned this was not an unusual problem. The repair was done and I was pleased. Last week it happened again. I contacted the dealer and set up an appointment. As usual the staff was polite.I dropped the car off about 9:15 and was told it would be ready about 4:00 pm. I asked if I could get a ride home as I have in the past (I live about 10 miles from the dealership). I was told they could take me home but not bring me back. Since I live alone that is a problem. Fortunately, I was able to find a friend to drive me back in the afternoon. I am disappointed with this new policy, especially since I purchased my car from their dealership. And this repair is most likely a “recall” issue. I still am happy with the service and staff at Roseville Subaru but am disappointed that a long time customer who has all their servicing done at this location , needs to find their own transportation to and from the dealership, especially if they live alone.
