AutoNation West did a fantastic job making a Starlink software update to my Subaru. While traveling from out of state to Denver for Christmas I had a drivetrain failure. Fortunetely I was close to Autonation and able to limp in to the shop. I had a very good experience. The initial appt was for the update for Starlink, however, since the Outback might be there for the whole day I asked them to check on a concern with an unusual sound in the the update for Starlink, however, since the Outback might be there for the whole day I asked them to check on a concern with an unusual sound in the undercarriage. Also I needed a loaner for a Dr.s' appt. The service people, Ansley & Luke, said they would put a note to have a loaner but I would need to call back the day before the appt. I did and they got the loaner for me. Fidel, the service person, I talked with the day of the appt. said they would try to check the undercarriage but it was a icy, snowy, day & they might not be able to do much with it but would check it out. They did but could not take it for a test ride. Could not find anything on the check. However, they did perform needed maintenance, rear brakes, oil change, since it was already there! Fidel was very helpful in keeping in touch and accommodated my request for the loaner and a honored the coupon I had from Costco! Fidel also took a quick ride as I heard the sound when I was pulling away from the service bay, he did hear the sound and said to come back on a better day so they could take a longer drive to determine the location of the sound. All-in-all it was a very satisfactory result, and I appreciated the service from the mechanic who did the work and for all Fidel's patience!! More
Kyle was extremely polite when picking up my car...which didn't get fixed at its scheduled repair. The call center didn't gather enough information for the dealership to order necessary parts.
