The dealership replaced the dash under recall and did an excellent job with flawless service from beginning to end. I have dealt with this dealership for my company vehicles and personal vehicles in the past and it was not always a good experience. This experience was a welcome change and I hope that it is a sign that AutoNation in Fort Myers is making customer satisfaction a priority. More

Very Disappointed in their Customer Service My elderly mother purchased a Scion Xb from this dealership in November 2013. As part of the deal, she purchased over $4200 worth of warranties. Aft My elderly mother purchased a Scion Xb from this dealership in November 2013. As part of the deal, she purchased over $4200 worth of warranties. After my mother passed away, the vehicle transferred to me as part of probate. I live in another state, so called this dealership on 5 different occasions over 4 weeks to inquire about how to transfer their warranties that my deceased mother paid for. Each time, I explained to the receptionist what I was trying to accomplish. Each time, she transferred my call three times and no one picked up. Each time, she took my name, contact info, VIN, etc... and assured I would receive a call back. I have left messages for the General Manager and Finance Director, but apparently honoring their contracts is not high on their work priority list as no one from the dealership has called. It is very obvious that AutoNation Toyota Scion does not honor their commitments, but are sure in a hurry to up-sell every add-on they can to a senior citizen retiree. I was forced to contact the Florida Attorney General's office and BBB to get the management to do their jobs. I would never purchase a vehicle from these people. More
They charge 2 to 3 times Toyotas MSRP on parts The staff was plenty friendly. But do your homework before buying parts from the parts counter. They charge 2 to 3 times retail for factory parts. A p The staff was plenty friendly. But do your homework before buying parts from the parts counter. They charge 2 to 3 times retail for factory parts. A part that has a retail of 1.29, try 4 bucks there. A part that has a retail of 20 and some change, 35 there. Before you buy any Toyota parts look up the retail prices online. Or if you have already bought Toyota parts, google your part numbers and watch and see how much you overpaid by. A female parts counter employee even acknowledged that they charge more than retail on parts, but said there was nothing she could do about it. More
Made an online appointment with my regular service adviser. When I arrived I was greeted outside and told I was being assigned to another adviser. I asked the reason why and they could not give me an adviser. When I arrived I was greeted outside and told I was being assigned to another adviser. I asked the reason why and they could not give me an answer. I was asked to wait for the adviser to meet me, so I waited and waited and waited. Finally someone escorted me to another adviser as the one they had assigned me was busy. I explained I was in for a 35,000 mile service and would like an oil/filter change. He said it was not needed as my oil changes were good for 10K miles. I said I did not care I wanted an oil change as I was getting ready for a long trip. So he wrote me up for a 40,000 mile service (not 35K) and said they would rotate the tires. I explained I just bought new tires at Costco and did not need a rotation. He advised I have the alignment checked, I said no, the alignment was fine......So he wrote me up for an Oil/Filter change and 21 point free inspection. After about 45 minutes the adviser came looking for me. Work was done as I asked. However, brake fluid and PS fluid were a little low and might need attention. ATTENTION, give me a brake. HOW ABOUT saying they were low and we topped them off. NO OFFER TO BRING THEM UP TO THE PROPER LEVEL. I have dealt with this dealership since 2005 and ever since they were taken over by Autonation I have seen a slow decline in customer focused attention. As the car, (2012 Prius) is about to turn 36K miles I am not sure I will continue taking it to them for service. More
