The service department isn’t what it once was. My contact rep is excellent. Her name is Shelly Krogman. The service department is very slow it took 2. 1/2 hours for a tire rotation. It isn’t the only time I have spent 3-4 hours for an oil change that I have an appointment for. They need to do something about it. Thanks to Shelly Krogman for being an outstanding Service Rep! With technicians and mechanics out due to hurricane losses, Toyota was operating with less staff than usual. I arrived at 9:15 for my 9:30 oil change and tire rotation appointment to find a packed reception area with at least 20 cars and two attendants hurriedly checking them in. By 9:45 I was told to go to the guest area and await contact from my service rep. A few minutes later, Mark told me that it would be two and a half hours and I said I would wait. After about 90 minutes he told me my car was done. Three questions: Why did the dealership have me make and appointment and not honor it? What happened to the selections of refreshments and snacks while waiting for service? Why does the service advisor tell me that it is 10,000 miles between oil changes and the sticker the service tech puts in the windshield says 5,000? Anyway the service was good and those poor agents in the drive dealing with other angry customers were doing their best under bad circumstances. Thanks guys. More
