My truck would not open on my Toyota Highlander. I had taken my car to the service dept in November 2021 for this same problem. However, it would not open again in May 2022. I arrived at 9:30 am on I had taken my car to the service dept in November 2021 for this same problem. However, it would not open again in May 2022. I arrived at 9:30 am on Monday morning and the service dept offered a shuttle ride home with a promise of I will call you after lunch. I did not hear from my service advisor till after 7:00 pm. And was told it would be $950.00 to repair. This after I repeatedly called the service phone number all afternoon with no answer or even a chance to leave a voice message. I finally contacted the parts dept and she sent a message to the service advisor. They kept my car overnight. I was told the shuttle would pick my up before lunch and my car work c be ready. That was not the case. I had to text ( made the service advisor give me her text number… no phone calls) and was told car not ready. I finally called Uber at my own expense told them I was on my way to pick up my car please have it ready. An assistance manager then called me and said to fix it would another $1000,00 to fix the automatic lift. I said just leave it manual. He said I would have ti crawl in the back of the car to open it. I then asked if I could open the trunk by lifting the window and pulling the lever inside. He stated he did not know my build so not sure if I could. My build is none of his business. I told him I was coming to get my car. This was my second attempt to correct the problem and have given them about $1300.00. The trunk opens manually now and was told by the manager that if it sticks again, they will fix it at no cost. I hope this does not happen because I do not want to have this service dept service my car ever again. Very poor communication!!! Very disappointed!!! More
Although I had scheduled long in advance a 5K service for my 2017 Toyota Prius v-Four on 6-8-2022, when an important medical appointment then was scheduled for me on 6-8-2022, I was able to advance said serv my 2017 Toyota Prius v-Four on 6-8-2022, when an important medical appointment then was scheduled for me on 6-8-2022, I was able to advance said service appointment to 6-6-2022 and Mr. Pablo Loredo ably accommodated me, which eliminated conflict between those two appointments and precluded any delay in obtaining said service. After finding our contact person we were able to drop our vehicle off for service the next day. We received a video of the mechanic correcting the issue which was interesting. I took in my vehicle for maintenance. Very professional and quick. I was treated respectfully. However, I witnessed the rudest behavior of a service director towards an employee while waiting in the customer lounge for maintenance on my car. He was yelling at an employee about something she did. He looked up and saw my daughter and I sitting right there in front of them. He continued yelling. We heard everything. He made some very rude comments. At one point he said something like, "If ya'll don't like it, go find another job." There were two other employees present also. One was translating for the one being yelled at. The other employee (Lauten) was clearly embarrassed that we were hearing everything. When he saw the look on the face of Lauren, he said to her, "You don't look too well. Do you need to go home?" Once the employee that was being yelled at went back to work, he said something like, "I don't know why she cries. She needs to find another job if she doesn't want to be told anything. That's why I need to hire my own people." My stomach started hurting and my blood pressure went up since I was using all the strength in my body to keep from punching him and/or cussing him out. Horrible, horrible disrespect to employees and customers waiting in customer lounge. More
Had maintenance required light on not go off. Made appt to leave overnight, was fixed and picked up before shop closed! Sierra was extremely helpful and quick turnaround much appreciated.
