I had an appointment set for 10:30 AM on 5/25/22. I arrived at 10:00 AM and was told that my car would be ready at about 11:30 AM. I checked at 11:30 AM and it had not even been started. This was for my 3rd free service which is a super easy one. So I told the service manager that I was FINISHED with them and left. I was EXTREMELY unhappy!!! I will get my service at Santa Margarita Toyota!!! More

Too much up-sale at this shop. There were 4 separate attempts to increase my bill. An alignment was their next recommendation and I told them I had sold tires previously and there was no excessive wear on the tires, alignment was not required. The last up-sale was for front end parts which had little wear and may become an issue in another couple of years. Then, upon paying for my bill their credit card reader, it wanted me to donate money to some cause. They have no cars to sell on their lots and I guess need to make money some other way. Beware. More

I finally got my RAV4 hybrid the other day after 3 months waiting. It was long agonizing wait, but it was well-worth it. If you have been in the market for a new or used vehicle lately, you know the situatio waiting. It was long agonizing wait, but it was well-worth it. If you have been in the market for a new or used vehicle lately, you know the situation: the price of used car is ridiculously high and new cars are sold with high markup, as high as $10,000 in some dealers for a popular model like RAV4 hybrid. I was greeted by Eric Traficante when I walked into this dealer in Irvine in February. He was very honest from the very beginning about the upcoming inventory and laid it out simply with what I should expect to pay to get what I wanted. Yes, they add some markup too but it was much less than other dealers in Southern California and finding a dealer without markup is like a finding a needle in a haystack. Eric found the model I wanted (XLE trim hybrid) with the color my wife and I prefer, which would be assembled in Kentucky Toyota plant in March. He locked the price for me with $500 non-refundable deposit. He said it was non-refundable because they want serious buyers only. I understood and I put down my deposit. He kept me updated with the production of the car and its delivery by train from Kentucky to California. I read an article that some dealers didn't honor the price they initially promised. On the day I picked up my RAV4, Eric showed the paperwork we both had agreed right away and showed me upfront the monthly payment I would pay, which was very accurate. Considering the current car market, I must say this was a very pleasant experience thanks to Eric's direct, honest, no-frill, and professional approach in all phase of sales. Finance guy Eric (yes, same name but different guy) was very helpful finalizing the deal. He showed us all the benefits we could get by purchasing some extended warranty. We did purchase some warranty on the day, but my wife and I decided it was rather too much the next day. So I called him and Finance Eric did not hesitate to cancel our extended warranty. He was sweet and professional all the way. I appreciate Eric and Eric for their courteousness very deeply. If you are planning to buy a Toyota and live close by around Irvine area, I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Eric Traficante for your next vehicle. Thank you, Mr. Eric. More

It was my forth visit to this Dealer. It was a good experience, but not excellent. For some reason every person I dealt with seemed a little preoccupied with seemingly something else on It was a good experience, but not excellent. Not a big deal but they said they were washing the car and it was not washed. The service was good enough for me to go back but not good enough to rave about and send referrals to. P. S. the parts department was only one star. I had to go to the Service area and have the get someone to man the Desk. They didn't even answer their phone no. which was on the cards on the counter. There is a big sign saying they sold LIFE TIME batteries but when i asked for one for my 2021 Camry Hybrid and my friends 2018 Prius they told me that the only battery they sold for those two cars was a two year total replacement or 48 months prorated. He honored my online discount code readily and held true to his word by texting me when my car was ready.
