Well I went in first and foremost for a smog check. I decided to have it serviced while there. Then i was informed that I needed 4 tires and an alignment. When call came that it was done I have an almo I decided to have it serviced while there. Then i was informed that I needed 4 tires and an alignment. When call came that it was done I have an almost $1600 bill but oh, the bad news, we can't do your smog check. It has to go to a Star Center. Would have been nice to have been told that BEFORE I spent $1600! More

Great when buying car but first experience with service was not good. Waited 45 minutes for the advisor to drop off car eventhough I have appointment. Advisor was slow and not helpful (saw appointment whi was not good. Waited 45 minutes for the advisor to drop off car eventhough I have appointment. While my car was in to have the hybrid battery replaced, my catalytic converter was stolen. I did a public records request with the City of Irvine and saw that this was the second time in the past two month my catalytic converter was stolen. I did a public records request with the City of Irvine and saw that this was the second time in the past two months where there was a reported grand theft from an automobile at this dealership. AutoNation Irvine has been stonewalling by not returning my calls and has offered nothing to try to resolve the issue. When I visited in person, they said they want me to go through my insurance. In other words, they’re making me take on the increased insurance costs that will likely result rather than accept responsibility for caring for my car while it’s in their possession. More
