Overall happy with the service but not washing the car despite spending more than a grand is very disappointing. Advisor Joe Schulte was courteous and efficient through the entire process. I appreciated his help. However, I like to take this opportunity to express my dis-satisfaction with another Service Advisor M the entire process. I appreciated his help. However, I like to take this opportunity to express my dis-satisfaction with another Service Advisor Mike Robinson. My 2020 RAV4 had a broken Power Back Door hinge in Jan. 2022. I came to AutoNation seeking service. After keeping the car overnight for inspection, Mr. Robinson told me about the problem and said such warranty work required him to write a memo to Toyota for approval. A service order was never generated. From hind sight I realized that he never intended to carry out the repair. He said it would take him two weeks to get an approval. I waited two weeks and called him, trying to set an appointment for the repair. After calling 5 times, left message each time and never received a reply, I realized that he was avoiding contact and never intended to repair the problem in the first place. I then contacted South Coast Toyota where I bought the car from and received courteous and prompt service. The PBD problem was repaired in 5 days under warranty. I was told that any Toyota dealer should carry out the warranty work. This unpleasant experience caused me hesitation to return to AutoNation for further service. I would appreciate an explanation to such reluctance (by Mike R at AutoNation.) to do the warranty work from anyone who actually read this survey. More
