I have had to call Toyota Care 2 times since. Yesterday, 9/7 spoke to a very unhelpful man. Initials JB about it. Told him that I need to bring car back but cannot wait 1 hr again w an appt. I told him for health reasons I cannot do that. I told him if I have an appt if someone would just check me in within a reasonable time (15 mins?) - so I don't have to wait with the car again (like last time - 1 hr) I could leave have a friend pick me up. Response from JB:1st come 1st serve no matter if you have an appt. Told him I have a Dr appt on 9/9-I don't know if my car will start 9/9. $50 if I miss it. He suggested that I can take my car to any dealership if I didn't accept 1st come 1st serve WITH an appointment! Earlier TODAY 9/8 I left msg for Serv Mgr CC. No return call. It's 8:00, dark I need to go see if car will start. Need to start it again a couple of times tomorrow BEFORE my Dr appt. I cannot miss my Dr appt 9/9 bc my car won't start. There is a msg when you call "this call may be recorded." If it was recorded this can be verified. Thank you. Website: Express Service Get fast and convenient vehicle maintenance, every time.

Saturday, Sep 11 - Drove to Trader Joe's. Was in the store for approx 15 mins. I came out and my car would not start! Called Toyota Care and they wanted to charge me $85 to start it. While I was on the phone with them the person parked next to me overheard me. She saw my Parking Gate Pass on my windshield and knew that we live in the same gated community and offered to drive me home. It was dark, hot and I was tired and I was so very grateful. I called Toyota Irvine at approx 8:12 pm and asked if the GM is there. I was told 'yes'. I was transfered to a VM system and disconnected. . Sunday, Sep 12 - Approx 5 - 6 am I went online to the Toyota Customer Service Chat Room and explained my situation and was told by Nicola A that a Cust Serv Team Member would be reaching out to me. Sunday, Sep 12 - 10:40 am Called & spoke to Ozzie. He told me that Mark Mehta is the GM but off today. He said that Shawn (Sean) was in charge and transferred me. I left him a VM message.

EDIT on my visit on August 26 the name of the Service Mgr was not Chavez, my mistake. His name is Chris Cortez. I left a VM message for Mr Cortez on Aug 8. He never returned my call.

I did not have a good experience with this dealership, I had to wait by my car for an hour just to drop off my vehicle for service and that's with an appointment! More
