I would leave less starts if I could, but their service person (not the manager) was very helpful and tired her very best to help. I sent my 2019 4runner to check a noise on the rear of the truck. After a person (not the manager) was very helpful and tired her very best to help. I sent my 2019 4runner to check a noise on the rear of the truck. After a few days, they came back and said the entire rear differential needed to be replaced and that it was not a warranty situation because the truck was "heavily modified". Now, the suspension is modified, but nothing with the rear differential. They claim the "driving angle" of the truck changed once it was lifted thus canceling any possible warranty the vehicle may have had. I posted on my IG and received a lot of feedback including from mechanics at other Toyota dealerships. The driving angle does not affect the differential ,but it could the driveshaft ( 2 different things). I pleaded my case with them, but what makes it even worse is that when I received the official paperwork ( I had to ask for it multiple times) it reads" Likely the cause", not a factual thing. I have owned toyotas my entire life, including a supra and never thought this would be how they treat their customers. I am still hopeful they will do the right thing, but it is unlikely. I will not stop, I will continue to push this case until someone with actual mechanical sense can explain to me what does the angle have to do with the rear differential ( inside components) More
