The service initially seemed good. I received a message offering an oil change and a vehicle inspection service for my Toyota Venza. The contact was very polite and everything seemed f I received a message offering an oil change and a vehicle inspection service for my Toyota Venza. The contact was very polite and everything seemed fine. We scheduled an appointment for Saturday at 1:15 PM. They asked whether I wanted to leave the car at the service center and pick it up later or wait while they changed the oil and filter. I said I would wait, and I also asked how long it would take. I was assured that the oil change would take about 30 minutes, which is reasonable since it’s a very basic procedure. I arrived on Saturday at the scheduled time, and they offered some additional service. I asked how long that would take, and they said about 3 hours. I immediately made it clear that I didn’t have that much time and that I would only wait for the oil and filter change, which I was told would take 30 minutes. In the end, I waited inside for almost 1.5 hours. Then I decided to ask the manager about the waiting time, but the answer I got was, “I don’t know.” After that, I went outside and saw that my car had been sitting in the same spot for the entire 1.5 hours, even though the oil change stations were empty and there were no other cars there. So I asked for my car keys and left without getting the oil changed. Everyone knows that an oil change takes no more than 20 minutes even in your own garage, and at a service station it should take even less. But apparently that’s not the case for AutoNation Toyota in Winter Park. More
