I was on time for my service appoint (actually 15 minutes early.) I was initially told the 30,000 mile service would take probably 3 hours. Thankfully, I called my wife to come and get me rather than waiting early.) I was initially told the 30,000 mile service would take probably 3 hours. Thankfully, I called my wife to come and get me rather than waiting at the dealership as I usually do. Since I heard no further estimates from my advisor, I had my wife take me back after 3 hours and was told they were "finishing up." 1 1/2 hours later I was told it would be 15 to 20 minutes. After an hour I went back to my advisor and told they were finishing the paperwork. Finally after five and a half hours I got my "unwashed" car. I don't mind if the service is going to take 5 1/2 hours. but I want to be told the truth and not lied to about the amount of time I needed to wait. More
