I have received good service here from Eduardo. However, I recently felt like another service expert, Brandon Theiss tried to sell me a lot of work that I did not need. I got my front brake pad However, I recently felt like another service expert, Brandon Theiss tried to sell me a lot of work that I did not need. I got my front brake pads and rotors replaced at this location in Nov 2021 - this experience was great, Eduardo spent a lot of time with me and advised me on what work was necessary and what I could hold off on. When I returned about 6 months later for an oil change I got Brandon and when I pulled up for my appointment he glanced at my file and said my file said I needed new brake pads and rotors, front and back. I told him I just got one set replaced just a few months ago at this location and he glanced at my file again and said that I didn’t get them replaced but instead got the rotors resurfaced. I was pretty sure that wasn’t true but told him to have all the breaks checked. He called and said I should get both front and back brake rotors replaced and that the back pads also needed to be replaced. I told him to hold off on the front rotor but to do the back ones. He complied. When I went home I found my receipt from my last service which clearly stated that the rotors were replaced in Nov of 2021 like I thought. When I went to pick the car up I asked again why he recommended replacement and he said they were warped and in bad shape. I showed him the paperwork and he said oh I guess they are new. Then he asked if I brake hard. I said no more than a normal person and that no matter how hard I brake, I shouldn’t need to replace 6 month old rotors. When I got his manager involved he tried to tell me that they were slightly warped but that I shouldn’t replace them but get them resurfaced. He then tried to offer. Free resurfacing to make up for the troubles and wanted me to wait for the work…but the rotors were still under the 1 year warranty so that should have been free any way. After a bit more back and forth he agreed to resurface them for free, clean the car and gave me a rental for the duration of the work along with a free oil change. The work was done and the rental was provided. However the free oil change was never confirmed via email or text as promised. More
I received a notice that there was a recall on my 2022 Rav4 Hybrid. I was able to schedule the appointment on line. When I arrived, I was given an estimate about how long the repair would take.
