Dishonest, Unprofessional, and a Complete Waste of Time AutoNation Houston offered a strong quote over the phone and claimed they’d beat other offers I had, but when I arrived, the experience was a Time AutoNation Houston offered a strong quote over the phone and claimed they’d beat other offers I had, but when I arrived, the experience was anything but professional. The staff was uninterested and unhelpful, and Devion, the representative I was supposed to work with disappeared without explanation. After a long wait, someone else finally returned with an exaggerated list of cosmetic issues and presented an offer that was almost 30% lower than what they originally quoted—clearly a bait-and-switch. Even after I showed them real, higher offers from other dealerships who had actually appraised the car, they didn’t care. I left and sold my car hours later elsewhere for the full original value, no games. AutoNation’s approach was misleading, disrespectful, and not remotely trustworthy. Avoid this place if you're trying to sell your car. More
