New AMG needed special attention- Autobahn Svc Delivered My new C63AS had an intermittent "hard shift" issue. Having owned many AMG cars over the past 10 years, I knew it was just not right. The Service team My new C63AS had an intermittent "hard shift" issue. Having owned many AMG cars over the past 10 years, I knew it was just not right. The Service team lead by Brandt is the best. My advisor Juan met with Brandt a couple of times to discuss my concern and met with me to discuss the ways to reproduce the problem. Jaun had two different techs do ride alongs with me for as long as it took to experience the hard shift so they could work with AMG on a solution. Brandt then spoke with AMG drivetrain engineering on my specific issue to make sure we had all the bases covered. They car has come back and it shifts like butter...very pleased with the attention to detail and communications to make sure I am completely satisfied with all aspects of high performance in my new convertible pocket rocket. Autobahn even loaned me a brand new E300 to use at no charge while they worked to make my AMG just right. I love everything about the dealership, from David Chao in sales to Brandt and Juan in Service, they really care how my family feels about all of our MBZ cars. Hello? Am I invisisible? So, I get there for my appointment and check in with the valet. He says to drive into the garage, which I do. I'm literally the only customer and car So, I get there for my appointment and check in with the valet. He says to drive into the garage, which I do. I'm literally the only customer and car in the garage. I get out of my car and wait while several (at least six) customer service agents completely ignore me. This being my first time to this service center, I didn't know who my agent was or where he sat. But no one seems to care that I'm standing by my car for a while while they just play on their phones or computers. So I ask someone where my service advisor is, and he points to a guy and says its the one with glasses and he's busy, so wait. Yes, he's busy talking to two other service advisors for several minutes and when he's done, I'm still ignored. So after five minutes, I ask the same person if there's a reason I'm being completely ignored, and he finally gets the guy to wait on me. Of course,there's no apology or comment about making me wait. I guess the work was done okay,but this wasn't a good start. More
