Crystal, we are sorry to hear you feel upset with us. This is a great opportunity to review our deposit policy. We do not accept deposits. Our vehicles are listed for sale on our website and many third-party sites. If another customer found a vehicle they liked on our website and came down to see it, only to discover it had a deposit on it. They would feel misled and probably never consider us in the future. Any agreement made here requires payment in full at the time of sale. In Crystal's case, she wanted to use a lender we work with daily. We offered her the same rate through the same bank, and she declined, insisting on waiting 3-5 days. It was early enough in the day, Crystal could have driven less than 8 miles to her lender and secured funds, and finalized the agreement. That option was also declined. Our policy was clearly explained by one of our managers, and no deposit was accepted by the dealership. The vehicle would remain for sale until full payment is received. It is unfortunate that we were unable to secure Crystal's business or part amicably. We wish her the very best in finding another vehicle and hope she considers us again down the road.

Greg, I am sorry to hear you feel the trade value we gave was unfair. I understand you did not believe the 2017 Escape needed as much work as it did. Rear trailing arms are a common issue with this model and with 99,410 miles, it also needed rear shocks, four new tires, and all new lug nuts. We also always change the oil, engine filter, cabin filter, and wiper blades. We spent $3,967 in reconditioning and listed the vehicle for a modest profit. Also please consider that most shoppers will negotiate our list price. Just because we post a price, it does not mean it will sell for that.
