Really great experience This was my first time buying a "new" car, and for obtaining an auto loan. I was scared and apprehensive because it was all a new experience, and I wa This was my first time buying a "new" car, and for obtaining an auto loan. I was scared and apprehensive because it was all a new experience, and I was on my own. Scott called me when I made my first inquiry on a car, and I felt immediately comfortable with him. He texted me to check in every couple weeks, and I felt zero pressure from him. He always answered any questions I had as soon as I asked them. When I was finally ready to move forward, Scott was open and honest, and I never felt like he was annoyed by any of my questions. I felt Scott really listened to me. I was worried about my short credit history, and he communicated my concerns with Mark. I was approved for a loan with a completely reasonable interest rate, and I was thrilled! I had briefly worked with another (external) dealer, and the rate he presented was so high that I felt I was being taken advantage of. Scott and Mark were extremely patient with me, and spent all the time necessary so that I felt comfortable and that all my questions had been answered. Toward the end of my meeting with Mark to finalize the financial paperwork, he mentioned there was a promotion, and I received .5% off the interest rate! This was such a great unexpected bonus! After I drove my new car home, I noticed that there was windshield pitting - I hadn't noticed it during the test drive because it was raining that day. I sent Scott pictures via text and had a quick phone call with him, and at the end of the week I had a replacement windshield at no extra cost. All in all, this was an incredibly comforting experience. Car buying sounds like fun, but for someone new to it, it's extremely scary. I really feel as though I've been given a chance to prove that I'm trustworthy and responsible - with my short credit history I was hoping for the best, but preparing to be denied. I have a solid (thought not complete) understanding of the warranty and gap insurance, and Mark helped me choose the best warranty for my situation. I'll definitely refer people to Scott if they're looking for a new car, and if I'm ever in the market for a "new" car again, I will definitely call Scott first. Thank you to everyone at Auto Aves for helping me with such kindness in the biggest purchase of my life so far. :) More
