We have been looking for a large suv and dealt with our fair share of slimy dealers over the last few months. But Automotive Avenues was great from start to finish. Our salesman Mike Erli was attentive, easy going, accommodating and respectful of our time. When we arrived, the vehicle was waiting outside for our test drive. When we returned we were provided with the figures for the vehicle which was the online price, sales tax, registration and a $589 doc/clerical fee. That's it! No hidden fees. No unnecessary charges. No bologna!!!! We had to leave for a presecheduled medical appointment, so we explained that we wanted the vehicle, provided our identification, filled out the application, provided the loan pre-qualification email that we received from our bank and left. Upon return a few hours later, the vehicle was detailed to perfection, with a full tank of gas. I entered the office to sign the documents, which in the past has been a painful process at other dealerships... but not here! 8 minutes folks! That's how long I was at the dealership to sign paperwork, EIGHT minutes! It probably would've been 6 minutes, but I had 2 questions. I cannot express the gratitude that we have for Automotive Avenues and our salesman Mike to make this such an easy peasy process!! 5 stars all around! More

Don't waste your time if you prefer customer experience over their "take it or leave it" approach to sales. Certainly not worth the trip over there. But they sell “hundreds of cars a month” so they hardly over their "take it or leave it" approach to sales. Certainly not worth the trip over there. When I inquired about "moderate damage" on an accident report, on three sides of the vehicle mind you, I was then given a lesson in how auto insurance works, not addressing the concern head on...as if I'm the dummy...last I checked, I'm not the one slinging used cars. Then when I questioned price, I was told "well just put $10-$12-$14k down" like it's no big deal to throw a ton of cash at a questionable vehicle...and it's not a matter of "what I can come up with"....I got the cash fella, it's a matter of trust, which this dealership and culture clearly lack. More

Overall experience was very nice. Our salesmen, Nicky, was professional. The car was exactly what we saw on the internet before going to the dealership. I was shopping for a special car and finally found it at Automotive Avenues, 400 miles from home. I called and the sales person, Sam, was very helpful and got me through the process. Hands down the best car buying experience ever! Both from the dealership but also from our individual salesperson who NEVER pressured us and gave us super-helpful information throughout the entire proce from the dealership but also from our individual salesperson who NEVER pressured us and gave us super-helpful information throughout the entire process! Things we loved: 1. HUGE selection! We had gone to other dealers who had one car or maybe two we liked but after going from dealer to dealer that got real old, real quick. Automotive Avenues has a huge selection IN STOCK so you can see a wide selection of cars at one place. THIS WAS A BIG PLUS! I will never go back to trying to find a car one-at-a-time again. Too time consuming. 2. THE CARS! Every car we saw was clean, late model, looked new, smelled new (none smoked-in with the telltale “try-to-cover-it-up-with-airfreshener” smell.) We wanted a Hyundai Tucson which tend to sell very quickly. We live in New York so it’s a 2 hour trip to get to Automotive Avenues in NJ but it was absolutely worth the trip due to the selection. 3. The SERVICE. The management has clearly spent time with their salespeople on the importance of being helpful and available to answer any questions without hovering like a vulture. Nothing makes a car buying experience worse than an obvious attempt to push a car on you. Our salesperson, Nicky D. was super-professional but NEVER PUSHY. He let us go at our speed, was there when we had questions and needing something but otherwise kept his distance for my wife and me to examine, test the vehicle, talk between ourselves etc. SHE especially felt comfortable. She told me that being a woman the car buying experience is terrifying because you feel like you EXPECT and WILL get taken advantage of. She actually told be she was so comfortable; she would have had no problem doing it along next time. So in summary, it was a GREAT car buying experience. Both the dealership Automotive Avenues and our sales person, Nicky D. were the BEST! In fact it was such a great experience and we’re so happy with the Hyundai Tucson we got, we’ll probably retire one of our other cars early and head back down to get another car!! More
