My Subaru crossed the 6000 mile mark, and I purchased in Dallas, and needed my free oil filter, oil change, and tire rotation. The service was fast and efficient. Nice to get a car wash too. They honored the 4th free maintenance even though it was 2 and half years. Less driving due to pandemic. Service advisors are always A+. Only complaint is the car wash. It looked like it was maybe sprayed off, but barely? Darn that’s why I like doing my oil changes there. Dealer was not honest about Costco discount program stating that they included the Costco discount when in fact they had excluded the car from the Costco discount program to avoid having to meet that c stating that they included the Costco discount when in fact they had excluded the car from the Costco discount program to avoid having to meet that car pricing. This was very misleading and took quite a bit of insistence for them to clarify. They utilize all the normal car dealer tricks to increase stress over your purchase and up-sell you on things you don’t need. I especially like the one where they have to disable the car alarm already active and installed on your new car unless you pay them an additional $1,000. “Now your car is at increased risk for theft and the car thieves know this”. It was a bad experience. Probably this dealer uses common disinformation practices that car dealership profit margins are built on. The industry needs an overhaul and reeducation on the customer experience. More
