I am 94 and I have purchased 5 Subaru cars and this would have # 6. I have a fair knowledge of automobile sales having sold Mercedes Benz in Naples, Italy and Waukegan, IL. Also, I was a rep for Cars International in Saigon, Vietnam [1964]. The last two cars were purchased from your agency and the salesman was Bill Toolen. I made an appointment with him to consider either a 2020 or 2021 outback. He did fine on previous transactions. However, this time he was very aggressive and treated me in a manner that I would not do. I informed him that I was getting info and would not purchase that day as I was in the process of selling my 2017 Outback to my Grandson. If I concluded the sale to him then I would buy another Subaru. Yes, I could sell my 2017 to a private party or trade it in but those options were temporarily off the table. Mr. Toolen drew up a contract, credit check form.& then tried to pressure me into concluding the transaction all within 45 minutes. He was not professional and the treatment I received turned me off not only on your agency but now am considering a Mazda. As a disabled retired vet with PTSD, I do not need this treatment. More
