I hate the thought of having to get service at the Carlsbad dealership. I made an appointment for service and my car was not serviced for almost four hours, defeating the need for an “appointment”. Yo Carlsbad dealership. I made an appointment for service and my car was not serviced for almost four hours, defeating the need for an “appointment”. You don’t understand how an appointment works. I brought my car in for recall service at 8:30 am but you did not get to the car until you felt like it. If I make an appointment for a job interview at 1pm but decide to show up at 3:30, would you give me that interview. An appointment is for service to begin, not just as a drop off time. My time is as valuable as yours. My wife took test drive of a Subaru SUV that day but is having second thoughts about leasing a car from you because of the way this dealerships deals with service customers. Maybe it’s just a Subaru philosophy but I have never had this happen with previous service appointments. More

Don was knowledgeable to fix my trunk alarm that was going off and checked my battery may be the cause. Tanner took care of my battery needs and was able to get me in without an appointment. My Outback had a recall issue, I took it into Bob Baker Subaru and they took care of it. They gave me a loaner to drive while they had my car. Took my car in for a safety recall and another malfunction. The service advisor seemed miffed at my presence, plus they let me drive all the way home in a crappy rental car before they realized t malfunction. With no recourse, I had to drive back and get my vehicle. They were obviously busy, and the department manager gave me his direct line to schedule my return visit, otherwise I would’ve rated the service 1 Star. More
