We walked away from buying a new RAV4 after 3. 5 hours — and I'm glad we read the paperwork. We negotiated a price reduction and a full-size spare tire with Liz (working with Albert). The "reduction" turned out to be fake: they'd silently deleted the corrosion protection and premium care packages from the deal without telling us. We only found out because I asked about premium Care boxes in the showroom. After a heated back-and-forth, they admitted the lower price came from stripping those packages. The spare tire was gone too. Credit where due: Liz was apologetic and clearly upset. Leo was dumbfounded. Albert was smug and rude — told us he "doesn't have $5,000 to throw around" — then sat on the benches out front staring at us as we left. We'd already changed our insurance for the new car. Bait-and-switch, plain and simple. Buying our RAV4 elsewhere. More

Fantastic communication with service representative, Greg, who took each question seriously and patiently answered. He gave me the exact cost of each item ahead of time so I could compare across other Greg, who took each question seriously and patiently answered. He gave me the exact cost of each item ahead of time so I could compare across other shops. He answered follow-up questions to my satisfaction and I ultimately chose to get my service there due to the responsiveness and due to the explanation of what I needed, how I would be charged. The cost was reasonable but when you factor in the service offered, it was an exceptional value. I only wished my hometown dealership had the same level of care about customer satisfaction and transparency. More
