AutoNation lost a loyal customer with the purchase of a new car for our Daughter. We paid a deposit to hold the car which we picked up on 18 Apr 2022. As we left the dealer, we noticed a noise coming from the rear. When you stopped, it sounded like a machine gun going off and the car shook. When we finally got the service department to take a look, they found silver dollar sized rust on the rotors. They said it was from the car sitting somewhere on the way to us. We now have to wait a month for new rotors to come in. The service manager was really helpful with getting the car safe to drive while we wait. The a/c compressor is also already making noise which we will need them to look at. There was even a small dent on the passenger side which we missed when we looked the car over. Toyota obviously did not do their inspections or test drive the car! Sold us an unsafe car that was exposed to the elements somewhere. We are now going to play the waiting game to see what else is wrong with it. We have driven it only 40 miles back and forth to the dealer. I recommend you drive to Victoria if you really want a Toyota. More
