I’ll never go back for service to my car. Made an appt for an oil change and was told 1 - 1.5 hours but they would try to be expedient as I had told them I did not have lots of time. 2.5 hour Made an appt for an oil change and was told 1 - 1.5 hours but they would try to be expedient as I had told them I did not have lots of time. 2.5 hours later my car was ready. There was no communication while I was waiting to let me know if the extra time. Why have appointments? I should have left after hearing 1.5 hours was the high end of the quoted time, but I never thought 2.5 hours for an oil change I had made an appointment for was ever going to be a possibility. When my car was finally ready I was thanked for my patience. That conversation should have happened after 1.5 hours with an apology and updated quote time. What poor customer service. More
A few days ago, we bought a 2021 Toyota RAV4 from Toyota AutoNation. I asked that the car be detailed, and a full tank of gas, as appreciation for buying the car. We were assured that it would be taken care AutoNation. I asked that the car be detailed, and a full tank of gas, as appreciation for buying the car. We were assured that it would be taken care of, so when we finish signing the papers, we told the finance guy that we would come back for the car after it was detailed because we know it takes time. The sales man came out and said it had already been detailed and it had a full tank of gas, based on his assurance that have been taken care of, we drove off with our car. When we got home we checked the car and noticed that it had not been detailed, it had a full tank of gas but not detailed. The finance guy told us that we can call him if there was any problems oh, and we did, and when we arrived at the dealership that same day, the sales guy greeted us and told us that they had to spend $350 to detail the car and that they couldn't pay another $350 to do so. I told him it was not detailed and I showed him the baseboard on the car that it had dirt, and he got defensive. By that point I was really upset and I could tell that my husband was getting very stressed, as he was going to have surgery the next day, and I did not want to stress him anymore, so I told the sales guy nevermind I will detail it myself. We spent over $35,000 on this car, and the sales guy is concerned about $350, that wasn't even paid to anybody to get the car detailed because it was not detailed. This is very poor customer service. What the sales guy should have said is thank you, mr. I'll take care of it. mrs. we will take care of it to your satisfaction. But that was not the case for some for that reason I will be very hesitant to recommend this dealership, or if I do, I will make sure to tell whoever I recommend that they not sign any papers until everything is to their satisfaction. More
