We recently had the pleasure of working with a true auto sales professional, Bob Tauber. Having only pictures, car descriptions and history to go on from the internet, We decided to call. The purchase of a car is nerve wracking enough, when you’re sitting at a dealership. Much more so, when purchasing one over the phone, sight unseen. It took about a week from the first phone call, to receiving delivery of the vehicle. So there were many emails & phone conversations that took place on this purchase. Bob walked us through every step, the entire process, without exasperation from our bazillion questions. He was always good natured, witty, with a great sense of humor that alleviated any anxiety experienced, when things unexpected arose. He worked tirelessly on our behalf to get things done in a timely manner. Which was very much appreciated. His professionalism speaks volumes for the ‘Autos of Dallas’ dealership. If you have an award that is given to employees for ‘Outstanding Salesmanship’, he deserves it! We would not hesitate to buy another vehicle from Bob or recommend him to anyone. More

I saw a car online and requested to see it. Bob immediately reached out to me and I came in to see the vehicle. I was sick that day and I didn't really feel like being anywhere but under my covers, immediately reached out to me and I came in to see the vehicle. I was sick that day and I didn't really feel like being anywhere but under my covers, but Bob made everything happen so quickly and smoothly. This is my second car from here, so I know they are a great place with great inventory. I am thankful for Bob and Autos of Dallas for being patient with me and letting me pick up my gently used Mercedes a week before Christmas. Merry Christmas to me! More
Many things went wrong that could've easily been avoided: 1. They decided to keep the vehicle for 2 days after purchase to replace the tires. While test driving the vehicle, there was a low tire warning, about 11psi less than other tires, so obviously something was wrong with the tires. Get the car back, none of the tires were replaced because they "inspected" them and decided not to replace them. 24 hrs later, a tire needed to be fixed at Discount Tires. A week later, a 2nd tire needed to be fixed. There goes a couple of hours of my time. Amateur mistake on my part believing a salesperson, should've gotten it in writing. 2. They agreed to replace the cluster lens. They keep the vehicle for 2 days to order the part. They have me bring in the vehicle for a 2nd time, they ordered the wrong part. They try to have me bring the vehicle back a third time and tell me it'll take a couple of hours to replace. They just can't get it right. I ordered the part and replaced it myself in 15 mins. 3. Within 24 hrs of driving the vehicle back from the dealership, the vehicle won't start. I send them a video, they say they've never seen anything like that and to call Lexus and have them tow it. Thankfully, I had a battery charger at home and took care of it. Seems like the vehicle wasn't inspected at all or whoever was in charge of it, didn't really do a thorough job. How hard is it to inspect tires and a battery? Also, was lied to when told tires would be replaced. I wouldn't recommend this place. More
