We were paired with our salesperson Bob Taube My name is David, and my girlfriend and I were in twice this week to Autos of Dallas to purchase a car. We were paired with our salesperson Bob Tauber, and had a very pleasant and satisfying experience. I would definitely recommend the dealership and Bob to others who are in the market for a used luxury vehicle. Bob was very straight-forward and forthcoming about the dealership's business model, and the sales experience expectations. I should say the purchase process experience as it didn't feel like your typical car sales experience. At no time did my girlfriend or I feel we were being sold. We went in knowing what we were looking for, and what cars we wanted to look at/test drive. Although we were not looking at the most expensive vehicles, and we were certainly dressed to be comfortable and not dressed in our Sunday best, Bob never made us feel as if our visit there deserved anything but his best, our that we were less valuable clients than someone shopping for a more expensive vehicle. He was attentive throughout, and very considerate of our interests and time. We did not purchase a vehicle on our first trip this Monday. We test drove 2 SUV's, but unfortunately they were not the right vehicle for us. Bob offered to continue to help us search his inventory as he was certain we could find something to fit our needs/wants. We advised him we preferred to step back, and do the searching through the inventory on our own time online, and let him know when we were ready. Bob made certain we knew he was available to help right then, and in the future, and accepted that we were ready to leave without being overly pushy or persistent. I understand that is not easy to do in the car sales industry. We did our search and homework, and we found a vehicle that checked our boxes. We contacted Bob via email Thursday, and he responded the same day to advise the car was still available, and ready for us to come see. We came by today, Friday 12/21/18, and the car was upfront and ready to drive as we had agreed upon over the phone earlier in the day. We took the test drive and fell in love with the car. Bob continued to assist us in the next phase as we moved to financing, and took our application after explaining to us how the process would flow. Things went just as he explained, and the entire process was completed in a satisfactory, and hassle-free manner as he and the dealership insist that it would be. The car was cleaned and prepped for us to go, and we were 2 happy clients. Clients meaning we are certainly willing to bring our return, and referral business in the future to Bob and the dealership. I had a car I wanted to see which he quickly brought out as I fumbled my way through finding my insurance in the paperless age of today. After test driving the car I knew I wanted it, and since the car was very competitively priced it was time to close. Throughout the process I had a plethora of questions about credit scores, pricing, time the car was on the lot, and other random topics as I am a curious individual. Surprisingly to me, the answers were truthful, honest, and Bob went out of the way to quench my curiosity; not something you generally experience when visiting a car dealership; especially one that deals exclusively with pre-owned vehicles. It's hard to find genuineness in sales today, but I was lucky enough to pluck the needle from the haystack. Closing was twice as fast as the last car I purchased roughly 2 years ago, and I was presented with a flash drive of all the paperwork rather than a folder or pamphlet; a small, yet strong signal that this business is not only in tune with its customer base, but also the future.
