You would receive better service from chimps. It cannot be possible for this service department to receive a 4.9 star rating. Sorry, if you you want your rating system to benefit anyone but yourselves, you must post the bad with the good, indiscriminately. The car was purchased from this dealership in 2020. It has been serviced 4-5 times for various procedures; warranty, scheduled maintenance, even minor mishap damage. You could say i know the service department well enough to write an honest review. I recently had a wheel replaced, (around $1000), and they didn’t have the good grace to install new lug bolts. All of them knurled off. Their service dept. put these worn out bolts on so ridiculously tight that it took a 3’ cheater bar on a 1/2 xxxxxxx just to break them loose. 4 of them. The 5th one rounded off, i put the 4 back on and in the morning, they will be be removing the 5th, and replacing all 5 like should have been done when they charged $1000 for the new wheel. This lug bolt is so tight that it broke 3 bolt extractors, at a cost of $60. This is not the work of a certified tech. Had this been a roadside issue, it would have required a tow truck. Qualified service technicians do not tighten these bolts to 200 nm. This is the type of service one finds at pep boys, only they charge a fraction of the price as bmw. Chimps, are more capable. And, if they don't enjoy this type of review… do the job correctly. More
