Service Persistence I had an annoying squeak/chirp coming from under the frame of my 2017 X5 when I would come across a bumpy stretch of road, I want to thank the Motor I had an annoying squeak/chirp coming from under the frame of my 2017 X5 when I would come across a bumpy stretch of road, I want to thank the Motor Werks techs and especially Erik Swanson for finding and correcting this. It took two tries but they did not give up, they knew it was a big deal to me. Erik is just a good guy, very likable and he cares a lot about keeping his customers informed of progress. This was not an easy fix but they got it...... Thank you Erik and Motor Werks, I am very happy. More

Victor Najjar my service adviser set up an appointment & ma My most recent trip to Motorwerks was to get the complimentary remote display programmed. Victor Najjar my service adviser set up an appointment & make available a service loaner so I would not have to wait the hour & an half it takes to download the software. He was ready & had all the paperwork done to get me on my way. Except I'm young geezer, & geezers have tendency to ramble on & on. Victor was very generous with his time even though it was obvious he had much work to tend to. The service loan was exactly what I wanted, a new BMW 5 Series so I could compare that model with my newly purchased BMW 7 Series. The 5 Series is really good, but the 7 Series is materially better & worth the extra money. Thomas Munyer the BMW Genius walked me through the steps of working the new remote. He was very knowledgeable, & generous with his time. His enthusiasm was genuine. This is all unsolicited, but when I treated this well I do find he need to show my appreciation. I've always been a car guy, & so getting my car properly serviced has always been a high priority. More

I admit that I wrote that out of frustration and I regret it. My apologies to Marc Collura, Kenneth Klusendorf and Margie Gallagher who were more than helpful, professional and willing to not only solve the problem but go above and behind to make sure their customers are happy and satisfied. They shown me the highest level of professionalism and this makes BMW of Barrington one of the best place where you want to buy and service your vehicle. More

Really Great Service Deparment! / Service Advisor I did buy my X5 at MotorWerks of Barrington vs. another local dealer. New car experience for customers is great with some perks. Service Outstan I did buy my X5 at MotorWerks of Barrington vs. another local dealer. New car experience for customers is great with some perks. Service Outstanding, Lets just say we did have a major issues a month before the warrantee was going to expire (and did while in service). I had a loaner for a couple of weeks and during that time they did find the issue and it amounted to a large repair. $$.$$$ Diagnosing this was involved. They could of did a quick fix, said it was nothing, and sent me on my way but, they were honest and fixed the issue that cost thousands of dollars. This shows how the dealer and BMW stands behind their product and goes extra for their customers. Al T. More

Terrible customer service, no communiaiton! Arrived, no signs, no one greeted me Stood in wrong line for 15 minutes and then was told to go to the service office Once there was told there are Arrived, no signs, no one greeted me Stood in wrong line for 15 minutes and then was told to go to the service office Once there was told there are no loaners unless I want to wait 40 minutes As I prepared to leave I found I was blocked in and had to wait to move other cars out Asked for manager and then was told, wait maybe we can get a loaner from honda After another wait finally got my loaner car and left When I arrived home I found a text on my second cell phone that arrived after I had already left for your dealership telling me you had no loaners I was told it was 2 hours of work After 5 hours I called to find out if it was ready, I was told by Mark “it was Ready” and he had texted me, again to the wrong phone this time my home phone When I arrived finished paperwork and was told they are bringing it around After waiting 10 minutes I asked where it was, niraj told me that it was being washed and was scheduled for a 3 pm pickup. At that point it was 3:40 After 20 more minutes and being forced to ask again, I was told they were bringing it around and would skip the interior wash Ten minutes later still no car, I asked for the manager and Niraj went and got the car himself He explained to me that when a car is scheduled for pickup they still need 30 minutes and that they were very backed up I explained that I was told the car was ready, I shouldn’t have to wait another 30 minutes, just tell me to come 30 minutes later! Finally left after being at your dealership for over an hour simply to pick up my car, no waiting area, no seating, just standing by the door, no one asked if they could help, just walked by even though they know I was waiting, obviously for a long period of time More

I always service my bmw at motor works of barrrington. My service advisor is Devine Eastman and he always takes good care of me. I mentioned I had some concerns with my CPO’d bmw. To my surprise the service manager Marc Collura reached out to me and told me he contacted bmw and that they were going to cover the majority of the cost. I was not only surprised by the outstanding service but as to how far Marc Collura of bmw motor works went to take care of their customers. Motor works of barrington went above and beyond in the service department. I will always bring my vehicle here for service and also recommend BMW motorworks for their exceptional customer service from beginning to end. motor works of barrington makes you feel like your business is truely appreciated and they go out of their way to keep you coming back.
